This looks beautiful & real. Cut the hangers off & used it in a pot on a tall stand in the corner of a covered porch area. Very pretty.

I have read so many poor reviews about this hanging plant especially the ones that said it turned the leaves blue. I bought two of these and they both looked great hanging outside on my patio. They withstood the rain, snow, direct sun exposure. The reason why I bought the exact same 2nd one was to replace the 1st one. This was a result of my ongoing battle with the birds. They preferred this (as well as the other Nearly Natural hanging plants I had) as opposed to the 5 birdhouses I had placed in various locations around my house. It was after all my artificial plants were occupied that the remaining ‘homeless’ birds used the birdhouses. I don’t know if I liked it more than the birds but I brought the new ones inside and will hang them up in the spring. It was not my intention for this to be a home for the birds but I now learned my lesson! The plants from this company are really natural looking and look great hanging outside (or inside) whether they’re hanging from a swivel hook, Shepard’s stand, underneath the eaves, and any place where they are placed! I have found this company has a very good quality and selection of hanging floral arrangements to choose from - worth the price! The one I received didn’t take too much time to get the flowers and leaves separated to get them to look even more natural. I did need to adjust the rope for it to hang straight. Depending on where this is placed and what it hangs from the basket will spin around if it’s breezy but it won’t fall off the hook.

These really look great! Have them hanging outside so will spray with UV protection and waterproofing. 4 stars because they are very light and blow easily with any wind. I put pea pebbles in the pot to help that which also look nice. Overall, very happy.

Beautiful artificial flowers. I hung on the front porch and get loads of compliments on the quality and color! Easy to arrange/bend stems to create a beautiful arrangement. They have held up well thru several thunderstorms with high winds.

Update, May 2024 5 stars Wow, these flowers are holding up great! I live in Michigan. Each year, I hang them outdoors from May through Sept. I store them in the garage the rest of the year, where temperatures range from about zero to 100. One of the 2 plants is starting to fall apart, with flowers and leaves breaking off. Considering this is the 5th season I'm using them, I've got no complaints. Time to replace them. And as far as securing them to prevent them from swinging all over the place in high winds (which is happening more often these days), I now use fishing line and tack them to the house (versus putting a weight inside). Original review, May 2020 4 stars I like flowers, but I definitely do not have a green thumb. Years back, I would hang real plants over my deck each spring. They’d look great for a month or so, then die off. I noticed my sister’s plants always looked good and asked how she kept them so healthy. She laughed and told me they were artificial. I decided to try that myself and have been pleased with the results. I normally buy my hanging plants in person from Michael’s or Joann’s so I can see the actual plants before purchasing, but since they are closed for in-store shopping right now due to the coronavirus restrictions, I decided to order some flowers from Amazon instead. I came across these reasonably priced Nearly Natural 24” bougainvillea hanging baskets and thought I would give them a try. Although I believe they are intended for indoor use, I plan to use them on my deck which has limited protection. Initial impressions are that I like them. They are a nice size and look fairly real. When I ordered these bougainvillea baskets, they were about half the cost of baskets from the same company that state they are for indoor/outdoor use and have UV protection. (The price fluctuates; these bougainvillea baskets were $27 when I ordered them.) There is not a lot of direct sunlight where I am hanging them, so I am hoping it won’t be an issue. The hanging cords are not very sturdy, so I’ll see in time how they hold up to the weather. One problem with hanging artificial plants outdoors is that the flowers and baskets are usually light weight. Therefore, they tend to sway in the breeze, which is a giveaway they are fake. To reduce this movement, I always place some small weights in the center of the plants. Note these baskets do not include hanging hooks. Bottom line, I think these are good artificial hanging flowers for the price. June update: I just discovered a bird's nest in one of the hanging baskets! How cute! (Other than the poop!) So far I've had my #6608 Bougainvillea basket hanging outdoors under the overhand of my porch for just over a month. My friends and neighbours are astonished when I point out that it is artificial. It looks quite natural, even from 5 to 6 feet away! Now when I took it out of the shipping box it was uneven and a few leaves and flowers had fallen off, so I did spend about 5 minutes re-attaching them and re-positioning most of the stems to give it a fuller appearance. It has thus far survived the breezes and occasional strong winds of San Antonio without loss of a leaf or flower. It was roughly twice the price of a live hanging plant, like a geranium or begonia that typically die off in a year or less in my care, so it only has to last 2 years to be cost effective for me! And even if it lasts only one year, not having to water it twice a week nor arrange for a care-giver when I travel is well worth the added cost. The only drawback so far has been that it is easily tossed and spun by the gusty breezes and winds here, but that was easily solved by replacing the lightweight string with which it was originally equipped with about a dollar's worth of insulated 16-gauge multipurpose wire (I used Anchor Wire brand "Dand-O-Line" green). It took no more than 10 minutes start-to-finish-with-my-tools-put-away to fashion a wire hanger and replace the string with it.

Attractive flower arrangement, looks very real and doesn't have to be watered.

I bought these to decorate my home and trust me it’s stunning..it’s appears so natural that I couldn’t believe my eyes. Just awesome!

It is perfect spot for this nice looking Bougainville. This area has limited sunshine and it was difficult to reach to water a natural plant. This way I protect my baby grand piano. It looks beautiful and looks natural … Best choice in our living room.

When it arrives it is scrunched up so you need to work on it to get it to look like you want. The stems are easily bendable so you can change the length or shape. I also put a knot in the cord to shorten it and it looks great.
