Q: Does this have a flat bottom as pictured or ridged on the muffler side?

Currently the Copper version has a flat bottom as pictured. Our newer finishes (antique) have ridged bottoms.

Q: what is the width of the spoon. i need to get stiff honey out of a 5 lb. jar with a 2 3/8" and 8" deep opening

It would easily fit through a 2 3/8 opening, I believe it is a little less than 1 inch across.

Q: What is the width of the teaspoon end?

Well the spoon is a drop shape. The widest part of spoon is curved and is approximately 1 inch. Very end is about 3/4 inch
