I have an old Dell E6520 quad core laptop that is starting to get a bit less snappy so I thought I'd double the RAM from 8 to 16GB and took a chance on this low priced kit.I'm pleased to report that it's working fine, all 16GB shows up and it's running at the rated 1600MHz, which really surprises me as I thought this laptop only supported up to 1333MHz RAM!Quick delivery from Amazon too so all good experience. Recommended.

Now the Thinkpad X230 is already easy to upgrade. Its design lends itself to installing further ram (as well as swapping out the HDD to a SSD, plus adding a second m.2 drive in). The job was as simple as popping out the old ram and replacing it with the new. Now my old X230 is able to run pretty much everything I can think to throw at it including Kali Linux, Qubes OS with whonix, running a tails drive on the laptop, running multiple OS off a ventoy drive, and more. So far this ram has held up incredibly well. Previously I had 4GB RAM, now 16GB makes this little laptop move nice and speedily (using TOR slows down a laptop somewhat anyway).

I ordered this on one day and they arrived the next, the 2 x 8GB memory cards were well packaged and protected in a small metal box. I knew what the type of memory card to order because I took a look at the BIOS settings on my Dell Lattitude E6440 and this gave me information on the existing memory card. The memory was very easy to install, turn the PC upside down remove the back panel, use anti-static protection before removing the old memory card and slotted the 2 memory cards in the available slots. Replace and fasten down the back cover with the screws and I had 16 GB memory as opposed to the 4GB memory which I had removed. When I powered on the computer, it automatically detected that there was a change in memory. I also checked the BIOS just to be sure and it duly stated that I had 16 GB of RAM. So what can I say other than the memory cards work, delivery was fast and the price was extremely competitive. Top marks from me.

DIY: Working well and easy to upgrade

I have not used memory from this Manufacture previously. Replacing Memory in laptops is a straightforward process and takes minutes to complete. Item is working as intended.

My 7 year-old Dell Precision was getting dramatically slow(for a simple task like opening more than 10 tabs in google chrome). So I upgraded the old 8GB(2x4GB) RAM to 16GB(2x8GB).Installation of the RAM literally took less than a minute. The Laptop started, popped up a message to tell me that there was now 16GB of RAM in place and has worked like a dream ever since. It's been like getting a new laptop.

I ordered those additional memory modules after having ordered ones from another brand which appeared faulty / incompatible with my Mac despite being branded as such.And i have to say those Duomeiqi modules just works perfectly on my Mac. Installation done in a less than a minute, powering off and immediately recognised and working well with my existing ones. I have as a result been able to increase my RAM from 16Gb to 32Gb and I can notice the positive difference.Only one "surprise": the packaging. The modules are delivered in a nice and protective metal box (well done) but where nothing indicate they are brand new ones. It could be reconditioning / used one as they were not in any particular "bag". Anyway, they are doing what they are asked which is the most important thingI recommend
