Nice entry level shofar!!!
Excellent shofar, white and gray color, mine came in it’s bag, no odor whatsoever and plays with a nice tone out of the box, highly recommended

No odor
It is smaller than I expected. I ordered the 15-17" size. I think they are not measuring straight across from end to end like I assumed but around the curve. That being said to warn people, the shofar is beautiful! The one I received is a cream color which is gorgeous (like the picture the other lady posted), not brown like the picture on the main page and you should expect a difference in appearance since they are one of a kind made of horn. There is no odor at all. The stickers came off almost 100% the first try and I simply used vinegar to remove any left over residue. I did receive the booklet but haven't tried out the sound as of yet, Im assuming it will take some practice which is fine and also to be expected from an instrument, most people cant pick up a flute and play beautifully right away with no practice and I assume horns are no different.

Smells terrible!!!
Beautiful horn. I ordered the 15-16" and it seemed small. Hope the odor goes away!!! Very quick delivery!!!

Good sound when mastered
Great sound when you learn how to blow it. Its a certain way that you have to hold your lips. You actually make the sound with your lip to make sound thru horn

Cream Color Shofar but Works!
I understand all the shofars are unique but mine is a light color, more of a cream, and not a brown. (I had hoped for brown.) I was able to make it work on my second try after reading the little booklet that came with it for instructions. ;) It's human to want to try without reading the instructions first, right? I went with this particular one because it doesn't smell (one complaint a friend told me) and the price (and of course reviews).

It's authentic.
This was a gift for my grandson and he loves it.It's beautiful and seems like it has shades of blue streaks the way it reflects the light.

Great purchase
Absolutely love these shofars. It was my first so it took lots of practice to get it down but now I already feel like a pro. The price was right cheaper than others and love the color. So happy with it. Bought one for a friend as well. They do smell but that’s normal. Will buy again if I need to.
