CPR Sock-It 4" Sock Holder (filter sock NOT included)

Great sock holder. As I plumbed my sump, I was really concerned about cutting that last piece of PVC to fit. Too short and it won't reach the sock holder. Too long and it won't fit either. To complicate the matter, when you glue in that last fitting, sometimes you don't get a good fit. Maybe the pipe won't get all the way to the end of the inside of the fitting before the glue sets. Then your pipe might be too long. However, I then realized that because this will fit a wide range of glass thickness, I didn't have to worry. I cut it close and glued. Then I adjusted the sock holder to the PVC pipe. Fits perfect. I highly recommend this if you want to use a filter sock to trap the larger debris in your tank.

Very durable

Well made product by CPR. Strong plastic, well designed, solid attachment to tank. Costs less than similiar products from other manufactures. 4" diameter sock fits perfect. Inlet/down-tube can be adjusted for different length socks. I got rid of bio balls replacing them with this sock for a happy refugium.

Works great. Its clamps hold it firmly in place. I replace the filter sock with a clean one when it starts to overflow. My nitrate level dropped from 40 to 0, but I also added a refugium and Seachem Matrix rocks.

As usual, another quality product from CPR. Great design, simple to use, constructed well 👍👍👍
