Luxury Down Pillow - 500 Thread Count 100% Cotton Shell, Standard Size, Firm, Set of 2

I have done a ton of research trying to find the perfect pillow that starts out fluffy and stays fluffy and doesn't go flat. I have bought so many pillows, never being fully satisfied. I HATE FLAT pillows! These are full of feathers, plump up with ease even after sleeping on them ( I have had them for about a week now). The are firm yet I can comfortably sleep on my stomach and not have a crick in my neck the next morning(which I was afraid of when I first got them they were so full and firm). I really can't imagine a $300+ pillow feeling better than this one. I will be buying more.**UPDATE**. It’s a year later and I still love these pillows. I don’t have 1 complaint. They still fluff up nice and plump and offer excellent support while sleeping. There are no feather loss and no sharp feathers poking out. I just can’t say enough about these pillows and I recommend them to all my friends.

I am not a pillow expert, and I don't obsess too much over my pillow. That said, I was starting to notice a pile up of discarded pillows that I wasn't sleeping on anymore, but was keeping for "guests" or "camping" or whatever. So I decided to go down the pillow rabbit hole. In digging through the reject pile, I found I have tried memory foam (too hard), whatever that micro-bead bean-bag chair stuff is (too soft and moves around too much), down alternative (fancy word for polyester stuffing that flattens and gets lumpy). So, I decided to go back to the classic - real down.These are very full and firm, perhaps a bit firmer than I would have selected if buying in person. However, they are very comfy to sleep on. I am mostly a back sleeper, so I lump up a section to prop up my neck and it's brilliant, mostly stays that way all night. If I roll over onto my side it shows its real superiority by being thick enough to keep my spine at the right curvature. I have been sleeping on the one pillow for a month or so and it is holding its shape and size quite well.I will update if things change, but so far I am very pleased.Update: nearly a year later and pillow is still the same as when new. No discernible flattening or lumps.

They're nice pillows but not great pillows. I guess the description gave them such a build up that it left me expecting more.

These are the best down pillows that I have ever purchased. They were well packaged and I immediately popped them in the dryer to fluff them up since they had been compacted into a small package. There was positively no odor to them, which really surprised me. They fluffed right up and I was able to put them right on the bed. I slept on them for the first time Friday evening and slept very sound and was very comfortable and supported my head well. I normally sleep with 2 pillows and with the 2 of these, it was great support and kept my head propped up well.I would highly recommend these to anyone who wants a good night's sleep! I cannot stand to sleep on polyester or fiber or foam filled pillows as they are so hot. These kept me very cool and comfortable all night.Great seller and delivery was very fast, and price was reasonable for all down pillows.

I have been using my new pillows for a couple of months now, and have been well satisfied. While these did not prove to be my "dream" pillows, I'm not actually sure if such a thing exists for me. And for the price, I would definitely purchase these again (although I hope not to have to for quite some time!). I am a side sleeper and cannot remember a time when I was able to comfortably sleep with just one single pillow under my head. I do still use a second pillow under one of these, as it's not quite as high/firm as I need it to be. But two is much better than 3-4, and I almost never have to readjust/fluff the pillow during the night. I definitely sleep MUCH better with these in my bed!Note: My husband sleeps on his back or stomach, and he cannot use these pillows because they are too high/firm for him. Which is fine, because I purchased them for myself! :)

I purchased these Goose Down pillows after owning the more expensive ones and I haven't found them inferior at all. They seem to have good lofting properties and fluff easily. I had read other Amazon reviews before purchasing these pillows, Some people seem to be having an issue with the pillows being flat and of course when my pillows arrived packed for shipping they were also semi-flat. A lot of Goose Down pillows will arrive flat from being compressed for shipping but there is a simple solution for fixing this and prepping the pillow for your Bed; toss your down pillow in your dryer on a NO HEAT rotation for about 15 to 30 min (I have heard of people using low heat, but you need to be very careful as the heat can burn the feathers/Down), <this solution will also usually work if you have older Down pillows that are getting flat>. If you are having an issue with the pillows getting stuck on the dryer drum and not tumbling you can toss one or two clean tennis balls in with the pillows. If there is a smell from packing toss a dryer sheet into the dryer with the pillows.

I am really dang picky about my pillows and have spent a fortune on many different cheaper pillows over the years. I was very hesitant about spending this kind of money on pillows, but in the end I am glad that I did. My husband and I both are sleeping better and waking more refreshed, which is worth it's weight in gold. These have pretty good loft and when they need a good fluff I throw them into the dryer on no heat for 10 minutes once a week and they are like new. I am a side sleeper who normally sleeps with two pillows and with these, one is almost good enough. I will be purchasing a second set eventually. They are very high quality and the best price I could find on real goose down with this kind of fill count and loft.

No issues

Could have more stuff in it, I thought it would have more volume. I'm a side sleeper, and as such had to have an additional pillow underneath this one. Other than that, it's good.

Very nice product.The only surprise I had was the size. I thought standard meant a width of 26" and they are 28".Not a real issue!
