Folding Knife Closed

The media could not be loaded.  I just got this in the mail today it only took 3 days but when i opened the boxed it looks cool but wait. I took the blade out and it felt kind of nasty like someone just ate food and touched it with there hands. Not to mention the spot where the deer is it is the colorgold and it should be rainbow matching the blade as shown in the thumbnail and i ordered the rainbow one?!! the blade is pretty hard to open and is not spring assist, i knew it wasn't but i expected this to at least lock just fine but not you would really have to put effort for it to lock. Ok and again with the different color part. It is all scratched up or it looks like a little hair stuck inside. I ordered this blade "brand new" from "TheFreeShippingStore" and it looks used and looks like somebody took it apart and replaced the inside with parts from the same blade but black and gold version... I will be keeping this knife because i don't wan't to go through the trouble returning it and i still think it looks cool even though it looks used. It did come with two little screws in the box as seen in my posted pics but kinda useless if you dont have a tool..Overall this is a pretty decent knife.Pros:- Thick blade- Looks cool- Fast shipping- SharpCons:- Not spring assist- Received wrong color sort of- Little heavy- Looks used and was a little scratched

The price is very cheap, unlike say for a new Spyderco knife of similar length. Another nice feature is that it came with 2 spare screws. With another knife that I have from a different maker, a screw fell out and another is a little loose. So for the Elk Ridge the spares are a good precaution.The disadvantage is that 2 hands are needed to open the knife. The guide posts at the base of the blade are perhaps meant to let you open one handed. For other knives this is possible. Not for Elk Ridge. I read other reviews that concur on this. For most domestic uses this is irrelevant. But if you want a knife for self defense this is a really bad drawback.

I had the rainbow one in the pic that was a switch blade version of this, the blade was the actual length that this one claims to be. As you van see the blades 2.5-2.6” long. i love elk ridge they make good high quality affordable knifes. I’m disappointed to give it 2 stars, but i was expecting what i read in the description (which is practically my old knife but without the nudge to flip it open). It’s literally half the size of my old one. The seller needs to update the information.

Beautiful knife with gold trim. Looks very elegant and classy. It really is for a gentleman. It has the Elk Ridge logo cutout from the handle to reveal the underlying gold metal body. It is small in size so anybody can use it. Great wood carving knife as it fits snugly in hand and is very easy to maneuver. The gold appears as a darkish gold color so it is obvious it is not real gold plate or gold leaf but nonetheless it is a brilliant and shiny gold tone. Highly recommend this gift for the collector looking to diversify their collection or for that perfect fancy Father's Day gift or birthday gift.

You won't buy a better knife for 8 bucks. Seriously when I was kid you got a pakistan knife for this price and it was junk. I own several elk ridge knives all are well made.

For the price you can't beat this knife . It's just as expected. It's actually even a little heavier than I expected. Worth it. Go with this one.

I bought my pocket knife just because I thought it was really cool looking and I just wanted one because, no real reason. I LOVE my knife and use it more than I thought I would! Always get complimented on it. It's so cool with the different colors. Not too heavy, can carry it in my pocket. Would DEFFINITELY buy again!

Good weight and sharp edge on this quality pocket knife. That said, mine came with a defect on the Elk logo. Part of the excess that's cut away from the antlers was still there. This mistake gives the Elk emblem a weird look but returning the item is more trouble than I want to go through. If the knife were more expensive I'd want a replacement.

recibi esta pequeña navaja junto con la er 134rb y comprobe los comentarios de reviews de usuarios esta bien elaborada en general algo pesada aun para el tamaño, pero con sistema de bloqueo muy solido, acabados muy atractivos y el logo de la marca cortado a laser sin bordes que incomoden el agarre , solo 4 estrellas por el acero de la hoja marcado como 440? sin mas datos , no mantiene mucho el filo pero por el precio se entiende , aun asi es util para tareas ligeras y uso diario por la estetica , y da tema de conversacion ........

pedi esta navaja elk ridge por reseñas que vi en youtube y pude comprobar algunas de las cosas que comentan , esta bien elaborada con buen sistema de bloqueo solido, diseño vistoso con acabados bonitos y esteticos, la hoja es al menos 3 mm en la parte mas gruesa y con el elk cortado a laser bien echo incluso no tiene bordes que incomoden el agarre, el acero no tiene buena retencion de filo , por lo que limita el uso por eso solo le doy 4 estrellas aunque el precio fue acorde a la calidad........

Buen producto, diseño muy bonito, solido y de buen agarre, tiene seguro para que no se cierre por accidente y trae 2 tornillos extra por si pierdes alguno, la único malo es que la hoja no tiene filo pero por el precio no me quejo y el filo se lo puedo sacar yo si asi lo prefiero.Medida plegada: 9cmMedida desplegada: 16cm
