EDIT 5/19/23: Over a year later and these are still functioning exactly the same as when I installed them. The sound and volume remain the same, as well as the speed of connecting to my phone. All wiring and physical connections are good. No issues. Still 5 stars for me. ORIGINAL REVIEW 4/22/23: I'm not sure if other reviewers received a different unit, but the one I got is great. The one I received had an inline fuse and power switch, and seems to be robust, although I've only riden with them for two days, so time will tell and I'll update this review if anything changes. The installation is very simple, and I was glad to see that the speakers fit on my risers and nested pretty well in the speedo and tach humps in my t sport fairing on my fx softail. Like I said, I'm not sure if other reviewers received a different unit, but this one is plenty loud at 70mph with my 96in motor and short shots. In fact I don't need to turn it up all the way to clearly hear it, maybe 75%. The sound is fairly flat eq wise, and at lower speeds it has okay bass, but the limiting factor is the size of the cones. But here's the thing, when riding a bike, your ear has trouble hearing bass frequencies anyway, and the loudest sounds will be mid-high. It's not that the unit is bright on the top end rather that the signature is flat, and higher frequencies can be piercing at high volume depending on the track, but I don't find it fatiguing if the volume is adjusted accordingly. I think these speakers are a good value for the cost and sound, I'm happy with my purchase, and I'm glad I bought these over the cheaper options.

They sound great and have a good connection for Bluetooth. I can hear them inside our house when my husband plays them outside and it’s pretty clear even in the house! There is plenty of cord length for hookup. They are on my husbands motorcycle and he wants some for our fourwheeler as well. They work great and are nice looking while feeling well made. These are nice, durable speakers for a good price!

My bike isn't loud. The speakers are pretty loud. I can hear them going higher speeds. It does lack bass but maybe I can adjust that with an app on my phone. I just wanted some music more than anything, but other than the bass, the sound quality is good. I listen to all kinds of music genres as well. Install was easy. I ran the wires under the tank and hooked them to the battery. I also ran LED lights to my battery prior, and it's no problem at all. For the price especially, they're great.

These are easy to install and have great sound. I can hear my music going down the road at 70 miles an hour. I didn’t get five stars simply because if they get wet from rain, they will crackle. Once they dry out, their sound goes back to normal, but it says weatherproof and they are not.

This product is nice and I can hear the speakers well but if using a iPhone you need to go into audio settings and change settings that protect your ears because it thinks you are using headphones but overall great product

i really enjoyed them, a lot actually. the set-up was easy (still wanted to re-do the wiring for aesthetic reasons, but it worked for the time being) and the volume was surprisingly sufficient. like other reviews say it gets drowned out over (i say) 70, so not for highway, but in town...pshh you can't beat 'em. the volume control is A MUST. BUT, after just a few months of riding with these happy as a clam living life....the left speaker started to cut out randomly. I checked the connections and wiring. all fine. I tried it the next day and both worked, odd. then while riding it cut out again, came on, cut out again, repeat repeat till yesterday when i lost the speaker all together. no muffled noise, nothing. best guess is some sort of fitment of internal wiring was off, so quality control issue. that's coming from an electrician. i am not happy that when inspecting on how i am gonna have to take this all off now that even with the gaffers tape i added as extra cushion between my bars and the clamps my handlebars (black) were rubbed and scratched. so, warning if you have over 25mm (1") bars then you'll have to figure out another solution to avoid this but with so very thin of a space to add padding. either way i'm starting a claim with the insurance i bought with them and i will update this post once i see how Boss handles my disappointment. The thing is, i still want the exact same product still! they were just not set up properly. i'm ready for a new set and really kinda put off that i have to go through the bull of removal, returns/exchange, shipping, blah blah.... i'm not asking a lot out of a sound system just functional sound would help.

Excellent setup, with the equalizer in the speakers, it’s easy to connect with your phone. The on / off switch is a necessity, if you don’t turn it off after riding, it will drain your battery. Sounds great, I know some people were whinny about no base , but it’s for a motorcycle not your boombox.

It was easy to wire on my Road King. It sounds fantastic at speeds up to 85mph. The mounting brackets for the speakers could use a serious redesign. The stamped generic sheet metal clamps are frustrating to make fit right and tight. The wiring took 30 minutes but the speaker mounts took 2 hours. This system sounds just as loud and clear as the Boom Audio Harley sells for hundreds of dollars more. Looks suspiciously the same too...hmmm!

Great little speakers pretty good even on the hwy. No bass but your on a motorcycle who cares. If I want to hear perfect sound I can at home. For the price you can’t go wrong.

Sounds is good for how little they are. Not a lot of bass but they are great. They are extremely durable.
