I wrote this same review on the 16' version.I've owned hundreds of tape measures, all brands and kinds. These Komelon Powerblade II tape measures are the best, bar none. Readable, durable, with a great deal of attention paid to the durability and quality of the hook - it's done well. I would like the width of the case to be a bit narrower, but that's just a personal preference. This is a quality product worth every penny, and it will infuriate you over the amount of money you spent on the name brand ones.

4 star really though I have wood but I do hvac and guess what b missing a pair of lousy magnets on end of tape to help me measure large spans because I'm usually working alone an magnet on end of tape would help grab one side of ducting instead of folding on me and I have to waste 10 min trying to get 14 foot span 30 feet in air the width of blade helps make up for that in as longer spans can b measured before tape reaches maximum draw and collapses like my 10 inch tape after multiple in-depth measurements and 22 hr of the same measurement. From multiple measurements Tape is also very lite I carry on pant pocket an feel no weight also blade nice size numbers for us old people 55 yrs and also no one else has is wide pocket clip less chance of ripping pocket where I carry tape will order more he'll ya

I bought this because I usually work alone and needed something that would allow me to reach out "several" feet when taking a measurement.I thought these would be much better than what I have given the tape is much wider.Not so. This is kinda better than the 25' tape I usually use but not much more.The bigger scale and having the scale on both sides of the tape is very helpful but it collapses at around three feet or so.

I work construction like many of you, but mostly around water. I've tried them all, lots of different stanleys, mikwaukee, dewalt, you name it I've tried it. Cheap, expensive.. All of them. This komeleon is the only take to ever get me two solid years of use. Others id be lucky to get a year. Love this thing. Just ordered my second. Everyone around me with their fat maxs and Milwaukee's and tool shops would be wiping anywater/dirt off the tape as they real it in. (My job is particularly tough on tapes) Me? Almost never. She sucked back in everytime. For 2 years!

Made in the USA! (Texas I believe I read) Being a manufacturer here in Wisconsin I appreciate quality products still made here at home. Every bit as good as my old trusty Stanley tape measures, even better I think! The case is plastic but very thick and sturdy construction. The rubberized bottom and top make it very easy to hold on to. Nice tape measure!

I like everything about the ruler but only wish that the rivets on the end that hold the end piece were a little beefier because they need to withstand the closing of the ruler many many times. By no means am I gentle with it and it holds up quite well. I feel it would just make it a better ruler.

For the money, I was expecting something far more flimsy. This thing is bionic! Unfortunately for it, we bought it to cut it up. (NOTE: it doesn't work for turning it into snap bracelets ala a YouTube video).

First time buying a Komelon tape,I usually buy Dewalt or Ridgid but after reading some reviews I decided to give them a try.As good or even better in some areas than the brand name brands.Durable rubber body,smooth locking switch,very large markings for those eye sight may not be perfect.Double sided markings that is easy to read in bright light or dim areas.Snaps back fast and has reach about 4 meters before it bends.Its a bit heavy and not a "small" tape so those wanting one like that better try another tape.

Good and comfortable, but it is not so wide than I imagined.

Very nice tape. But the blade broke off not even a week later. Probally a good a good tape for small jobs around the house. No good for construction.
