Perfect little fan
This fan is small, only 4 inches in diameter, but as i wanted it next to me it was perfect. It has a strong and quiet breeze, which is more than enough, but if you want it on the second level, it is a little noisier. The head even tilts forward, and its more powerful than you would think. Very easy to use, just turn the dial to one or two. It plugs into your laptop (we also have a USB adopter that we can plug it in with) I would say that the only draw back is that it doesn't charge so if not plugged in it doesnt work but for my set up its great and I would thoroughly recommend. Great value for money and better than a large fan!

Well thought-out little desk fan.
Pro's:- On "low", this fan is really very quiet. I've got very sensitive hearing: if I'm going to sleep with a fan on, I'll choose this one, and the noise is way less of an issue than the heat would be if I turned it off.- Puts out a surprising quantity of air for its size (although it comes in a narrow stream, so leave it roughly 1-2m away to work best). I think this is down to the secondary impeller - which seems to draw in air from the sides, using lift generated from the forward flow, and boosting the overall throughput (don't quote me: I used to do fluid dynamics, but that's a long time ago now =D)- Light enough (and *feels* robust enough) to go in a backpack. I reckon it would probably bounce if I dropped it, but I'm not inclined to try.- An actual rotary switch! Albeit a tiny and cheap-feeling one, but still better than some finicky capacitive touch control, or silly little potentiometer (as might be found in similar models).- USB means I can plug it in pretty well anywhere. <3.Con's:- On "high", it's kinda loud: it's basically a big computer case fan motor, so imagine a hot and noisy PC, you get the idea.- Mine has an intermittent rattling noise, which is intrusive when on high power. I think it's some fouling on the rear impeller causing this (whose movement I believe is powered by the flow of air from the primary fan). A bit of moving and shaking will sometimes make this go away - could be a QC, or maybe a design issue.- The USB lead is hard-wired in, with little to no apparent strain relief: personally I'd have preferred a connector on the unit, especially since it's otherwise very nicely portable. Maybe one of these days I'll add my own ;).- This one's a bit personal: I just don't like the slidey-type angle adjustment thing. I can see why they did it - it's very rigid and premium-feeling for its (rock-bottom) cost of manufacture. But I can't help thinking there's got to be something in there somewhere that's concentrating strain on the (probably tiny) power wires to the fan. Only time will tell.Overall, it's a lovely little personal fan - makes mine the happiest desk in the office on a warm day.

Fan-tastic
Expectations were exceeded with this dinky little fan. First impressions sure were decieving. Whilst it may be small in size, it is extremely effective and does the job well. Just how I like my fans.I'm that annoying person in the office who actually likes cold air blowing on my face all day, whereas most normal people (everyone in my office) don't. This fan has been a life saver this summer and increased productivity. Previously I worked remotely in front of the fridge. Whilst this may seem like a perfect working environment with easy access to snacks and constant cool air, it is not good for the environment to leave a fridge door open all day. Plus I ended up having to pick up dinner lady duty at lunchtime which wasn't the best use of my time. So this fan really has transformed 9-5 for me.It is very quiet and powerful. Best item I bought this year.

This review will save you money!
Calculate how far it would be to go to your local post office to return a parcel. Multiply this by, say, 30p per mile. The total is the money you will save by not ordering this fan. It is tiny, very cheaply made, noisy and scarcely moves the air. I really cannot think of anything positive to say, except that it arrived early so the sender is good. And Amazon refunded me very quickly too!

Fan-tastic for the price.
I bought this little fan for my campervan. It's quite small but very quite on the first setting. It won't blue you away excuse the pun but just enough air flow to keep your face cool if the van gets to warm when trying to sleep. Build quality not bad for the price. You are able to move the fan head up or down which is a nice touch.

An effective desktop fan for work
Bought this for use at work, and on setting 1 (slowest) it's very quiet such that a colleague 4 metres away at his desk cannot hear it over the noise of his own pc. Setting 2 adds about 30% more airflow but it does become noticeably louder then. However the slower setting on constant is enough to keep cool with when pointed straight at you, so it's not a problem. And being usb powered with a decent cable length means it should always be possible to find a convenient power source. I've even managed to power it from the usb drive of a Canon inkjet printer!

Works nicely
This fan is pretty tiny which I actually like about it. I bought it for my desk and it sits compactly underneath my computer monitor to keep me cool while I'm writing. I realised just after I had received it that it will also be great for travelling with as it is so small so I will deffo be taking it with me on my holidays. It has two settings, the first is a comfortable breeze and is basically noiseless, and the second is stronger but a bit noisier. Still, I don't mind the sound of fans. Overall, I would recommend getting this fan for your desk or for travelling with but if you're hoping for something to keep you cool while you sleep or to cool down a hot room I'd advise forking over an extra £10 to buy a proper fan.

Excellent !!
