Illustrated Encyclopedia of Wild Flowers & Flora of the World

I thought this book is AMAZING!! From details to pictures. So useful and interesting! I don’t know why some reviewers here just don’t appreciate the education/ knowledge the book provides. Could you write a book that is better than this book? Practice appreciating humans!

Expected bigger illustrations but the book is quite complete and detailed

I gave this to my daughter for Christmas and she loved it! She works in a park and she will find it very useful to look up many wildflowers.

Simply Beautiful and educational. Great for the avid artist too.

Although this book boasts of 1700+ species of wild flowers and flora (wild flowers,trees,shrubs,herbs, heathers,grasses,rushes,sedges,cacti,carnivorous plants,aquatic plants,weeds and parasites)with 3800 plus illustrations by no stretch of imagine can it be callled an encyclopedia as it doesnt even scratch the surface.For most species there is an English and Latin name,general description,main features,distribution,height and spread,habitat and leaf structure.There is also a distrubition map and an illustration of the plant which in most cases is too small to be of any value.Not recommended as there are much better books
