One of Koudelka's master pieces
A piece of fine art. It creates a solitude atmosphere, between pure blacks and the brightest whites. Koudelka is a contemporary artist moving from the big event documentation (the Czechoslovakia invasion by the soviets) to the common but natural human live. A most to have if you love photography and its top players. Simply a beauty.

Beautifully eerie.
Beautiful stark images. I bought this for my husband as a birthday gift, but I think I like it as much as he does. It arrived in pristine condition and a day earlier than anticipated. If you are or are buying this for a fan of Koudelka, black and white photography, or art in general, you'll definitely be pleased.

The print quality is amazing as you would expect from this publisher
Definitely one of my top 5 books of all time. Koudelka is an absolute master of black and white and this work encompasses many of his travels and is organized very well. The print quality is amazing as you would expect from this publisher. This book is a must have for anyone who is remotely interested in photography.

Odd book
It's a little odd, this book. Very good cover, pages paper and very good quality printing. Koudelka is a wonderful photographer, some photos are simply wonderful, but others... Maybe it's me, maybe I simply don't understand them, but the whole selection sometimes seem's too much random, they don't make sense as whole. Wonderful photos mixer with some which look vulgar or even not interesting at all...

Es una excelente libro para continuar conociendo la fotografía tan particular de Koudelka. Todo un maestro de blanco y negro. Su modo de incluirse y ganar la confianza de los fotografiados y su perspicacia en la mirada es impresionante
