USELESS
I bought this book thinking it would be an excellent educational book to use with my daughter. This may be the case if you live in America. However purchasing it from the UK Amazon I expected it to be British English. Many of the words are not used in britain or are spelt differently. As well as this I chose this book as I thought the format would be like the front cover, but again this is wrong, the pictures are much smaller and there are sentences using the word, this is good for older children but the reason I chose this rather than the Oxford childrens Picture dictionary was because I thought it had a more basic format like the front cover.

good learning tool
I use picture dictionaries with a game series called scribblenauts to make learning language fun for small children. It acts as a gateway that encourages kids to learn while having fun.

Great to teach from
Great to teach from. I use to teach database thinking in high school and use this for thoughts. Have them figure out how to find a goat fastest.
