I purchased the first option listed for this product.I'm extremely happy with these EDC containers. The lid and the body are each obviously made of a single piece of aluminum that seems very sturdy and weighs about what you'd expect, which is a little more than similar products (which makes sense considering that they're a little bigger than similar products I've purchased). The option I selected opens from only one side (which is as shown in the seller's photos). The textured exterior gives a very good grip, and considering the shape of the lid, I'm quite sure I could get them open with just my bare hands no matter how tightly I've closed them.The colors are exactly as shown in the seller's photos, and the branding on the tops of ones I received are branded "OUTDOOR EDC". I attempted to scratch the exterior and the branding with both my fingernail and then a small razor blade; I exerted only a moderate amount of pressure (since I wasn't trying to really damage them as much as just verify the quality), and both the exterior color and the branding held up to that.There were 3 extra O-rings included which seem sturdy. The lids of the containers each have 2 grooves around them that can be used to store these extra rings, which is very convenient. I didn't test to see if the containers are waterproof, but I'd be surprised if they weren't since the threading fits snugly and the O-rings seem to be legit.I'm impressed overall and I think they're definitely worth the money I paid. I'll probably buy more of these in the future to make small medical, fire-starting, sewing, &c. kits for my car and camping gear.

I ordered a second set because I found them useful. I put different pills into different containers and I take them with me (Ibuprofen, Tylenol etc.)They are small enough NOT to be a size nuisance. They are large enough to hold pills and ear plugs. They can hold about 20 Ibuprofen tabs (approximately, I did not count). They open at both ends, so if your earplugs get stuck, you can open both ends and push them through. They seem to be well machined such that the cap threads screw down well without binding. They are lightweight.

These EDC canisters surprised me honestly. I half expected to have to return them due to being cheap or defective as often is the case with some of these items at this price point. But to the contrary, they are well machined, & the lids close smoothly & tightly without cross threading or leaking. Of the 3x pack, all of them were water proof upon arrival & came with extra sets of rings for each canister. That was a nice touch as often you'll get one or two extra O rings for the whole pack. This came with 2x per canister. Durability seems good but they are aluminum, so they aren't indestructible. For the weight to disability ratio though, they are perfect for EDC items.

I can fit 2 flash drives inside it (depends on brand) with room on the ends for thin padding. Since it is aluminum, it is heavier than plastic but still acceptable. Came with extra o-ring seals. Stands up pretty steady. Good purchase.PLUS SIZE- very well built. Longer version of the LARGE SIZE. Several differences that I don't care for. The main body is not knurled so it is kind of slick. The bottom is a removable cap also, but it is curved so the container will not stand up. Also came with extra o-ring seals.

There's nothing to "dislike" about these nifty capsules. They are quite a bit larger than I had thought, but that's okay. I gave one to my mom and she puts her vitamins in it...and it holds a lot. You can put the big kitchen matches in and there's plenty of "head" room. Lightweight but really rugged. Great for my "camping" bag, I may get another trio and give as gifts. Always good to have a rugged, waterproof lightweight "container" for whatever happens.

These are the perfect size for what I needed.I wish they were a little better made, screwing the caps on feels rough, some color seems to have chipped from the threads, and the o-rings come off rather easily.That being said, at this price for three medium size, it's not a bad deal at all. However, I'd easily pay the same price for a single one with perfect quality.

These dry boxes were very good quality, smooth open/close, good seal.Note the size though, I was a little surprised but it was clearly described so it was my math skills that were lacking. Product was good though.

I got these as a gift for one of my nephews, for his Boy Scout kit. I kept one, gave him two. Both are for fire starting. One contains cotton balls coated in petroleum jelly, the other waterproof matches. Both are in a utility pouch, with other items for starting a camp fire depending on the situation. Mine hasn't seen use yet, but I will come up with a use.

Read further for test method & results. Capsules unscrew at both ends so you can mix the end caps and the lids. This is what I've done so that these stand out better if dropped or left lying around, especially the black. No problem knowing which to pick up for different contents as you just need to remember which colour main tube has what inside. Sturdy & thick enough to not feel as though they'd crush or distort easily. Also comes with 6 spare rubber seals (2 for each capsule / 1 at each end, but of course If you only ever open 1 end the spare seals will last twice as long). To give some idea of capacity. Will hold 1 x AA battery or 1 x AAA (but not 2 x AAA) along with a few extras such as needles & threads and/or tinder etc. Can also hold 4 x King size filter tip cigs with 5 standard matches but you'll need to cut approx. 2 thirds of the filter off otherwise their too long, but that ain't a problem. Also if you use survival type matches you'll only get 3 or 4 in with the cigs. See photo for comparison. TEST: Cut a sheet of absorbent paper towel into 3 wide strips (1 included in photo taken after test), rolled them up & slid 1 into each tube before securing the caps (nipped them up reasonably tight without over exerting so as to prevent any problems with opening). Dropped them into a tub & filled it with scalding hot water, then banged em about pretty good with a wooden spoon for a minute or so to stimulate being dropped into flowing water. Then placed another tub on top and filled that with more hot water in order to fully submerge the capsules. After 15 minutes I emptied the water out & refilled the tub with very cold water from the fridge before knocking em about for another minute or so and then submerging again for another 15 minutes. After that time I removed them and dried them well on a cloth towel first then with a fresh sheet of paper towel to ensure no tiny droplets of water were left on the outside. Opened each one up & carefully inspected the rolls of paper towel & the insides of each tube & found everything absolutely bone dry. So no leakage from submersion, being battered about in water, or from expansion due to temperature changes, which means along with the ability to make these more visable these are the ones you want if the size is correct for your needs. As an extra bonus they arrived in individual strong poly bags with good strong clic-seals, non of your tear if you so much as look at em bags here. All along with the tiny bag of seals were packed inside a larger strong bag so they will all come in very handy for stashing any number of things. One warning. A little black oil was found inside a couple (particularly in the lid & end cap threads) so if you plan on using for tablets or such make sure you give em a good clean out, plus it's always wise to put items into small sealable bags or wrap in cling film before putting into these just in case you do get a bad seal.

These are Great bigger than expected but thats actually great for me as I'm using them for lots of different stuff. Great Quality Great Value nice bold colours. Definitely waterproof have given them several Extreme Test such as Scuba Diving and a water pressure test that was by accident was washing my Motorbike and forgot that it was strapped to my seat. But it didn't leak at all. Very impressed. Definitely Recommend To AllOh little Black one (Old) is for my ear Plugs and Green one is New one.

These are great, very handy. Haven't tested how air/watertight they are yet but my initial impression of them is very high. I'm using mine to keep prescription medication in. I'm presuming that loose pills will be fine in these. Certainly better than the plastic pills containers.If they pass my tests, in going to get another set for vitamins, matches and char, and general useful OTC medicines like ibuprofen etc.

Got the mid size. A good compromise between hopelessly small and uncomfortably large in the pocket. After a few days use I've noticed a tendency for the o-ring to come lose. Annoying.

Just what I required, size right & very well made. Stores keys up to approximately 3” in length, coins, notes, pills or rings necklace & a small to medium ladies watch. Ideal for beach days or sports or even burying in the garden
