Which strength would be the best for a beginner bari sax player? I've played alto sax for 7 years and was wondering if i could start off at a 2.0

It's a little dependent on what strength you play on alto. In my experience, you want start on bari with a strength lower than what you play on alto. If you play 2.5 on alto, then 2.0 would be fine, but if you play stronger than 2.5 on alto, you can probably adjust your bari strength accordingly.
