Remove the ‘perfect fit’ valve if using with relevant Brita jug.
Oh what a palaver trying to correctly install these filters. After nearly an hour of fitting, forced removing, jamming in even tighter and almost shattering my jug trying to remove it for the sixth time, I finally looked at previous reviews and thankfully found the answer…. Remove the Brita ‘perfect fit’ valve and Hey Presto… it works perfectly fine.

Great Value
These filters do exactly what you would want. In my opinion they are equal in quality to more expensive banded versions.

Why pay more?
Just as good and effective as the more expensive 'genuine' cartridges. No point in paying more.

Perfect
I started using Brita filters when I lived in central London in an old block of flats and the water was hard and not as tasty as I was used to. I also had a worktop coffee maker and didn't want it or the kettle to fur up quite so often. I tried the Amazon Basics just to see if there was a difference compared to the Brita originals, and was delighted to find out that, if anything, the Amazon ones are better and certainly a lot cheaper. They are much easier to replace, and I no longer break fingernails like I used to with the Brita brand. Recommended.
