Senna is a herb that is generally used for its laxative properties. Senna is also known as cassia senna, wild senna, cassia marilandica, or locust plant. Both leaves and pods of the senna plant are used for their laxative effects. The pods are less potent than the leaves. Mainly the leaves are boiled with water and used to treat constipation; it acts as a laxative for health issues and is also used for spiritual issues which will help in the removal of consumed sihr / magic. Used over a period of time the sihr will become less and will detach itself from the stomach by the will of Allah. Senna is also used for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), hemorrhoids, and weight loss.
