For the money, I would say that this little torch is a good buy. It is almost impossible to light one-handed. I end up just using a lighter to light it. But once lit, the flame is good and hot

I read many reviews of several torches and selected this one. Some reviews of other torches said there may be problems with standard butane fuel and you should use refined premium fuel. This one did not have those complaints and I used a old can of standard Ronson butane refill with no problems so far. I've used it only about a dozen times in the last 5 months primarily to light propane pilot flames on my travel trailer or range. My only issue is the base/stand which does not hold onto the fuel tank. I would like it better if it fit tight enough to stay attached as you move it around.

I purchased this for thanksgiving. I’ve only used it a couple time and then it became very hit or miss. The flame is either way too high making it dangerous to use. I know that this is simply a lemon item. I’ve owned this exact model in the past and it was great until someone took it from my cabin. I was too late for the return window and I hope that the seller will see this and simply replace the item. Many thanks. I will change my review assuming the seller reviews this and replaces the item. The torch was easy to fill with fuel, it lights the first click every time. The lighter button and the hold switch are easy to use. It is comfortable to hold and feels natural in the hand. It has a easy to use safety lock to prevent accidental start. The only negative I see is that the base is not quite tight enough and falls off if I bump it while using it. I fixed that by putting a small piece of paper between the fuel tank and the base to make it fit tighter. Overall I am very happy with the torch.

good price for a good torch. i enjoy being able to change the flame setting. the only problem is that the bottom piece would not stay on and fell off every time i picked it up. but with a little super glue, it’s all good to go.

This torch functions properly it just runs out of gas pretty quickly. It's either a huge flame or tiny flame as it quickly runs out of gas from a brand new 10x filtered butane gas bottle. It has a switch on the side to regulate gas flow but it does not turn the gas or flame down very much. A pretty good torch but way over priced.....

Nicely made great working torch! The only "downside" is that the base is a somewhat loose slip-fit and does not want to stay attached (usually at the least opportune moment)!
