Multidevice MacBook Pro Charger Compatible with MacBook Pro 2009-2012 60W L Tip

We did a lot of research before making this purchase. Many units, that perform this function are available, but this one has several MARVELOUS attributes. First and foremost, this unit has SMART charging and is much better on the battery in any device. In fact, one of my devices that had not held a charge for the past year is now working with an 8 hour battery life. Second, the device comes with multi-function cords...you don’t have to buy more. Third, the device is compact but accommodates all our tablets and phones. Finally, the light on each device turns off when charged, thus it is easy to know when your device is charged. Great product, I’d buy again and fully recommend...a few more dollars gets you a whole lot MORE. Cheers!

Overall, I am pleased with the product. One great feature is that cables are included; specifically a set of six cables, with each cable having three commonly used connectors, so you are covered for the great majority of devices. Understand that even though the device comes with an on/off switch, it does not function as one might expect. The switch does not need to be in the ON position for your devices to charge. All it does it turn on a blue light near each device during the charge cycle.. As long as the blue light is on near the device, the device is charging. Once the device is fully charged, the light turns off. It's supposed to be a visual indicator of full charge status. However, I found that my iPhone was only charged at 94% when the blue light turned off, so it is not a fully reliable indicator of a completed charge status.The phone charged quickly until it reached 94%, but it seems that once the blue light turned off, it took a significant amount of time for the phone to charge the remaining 6%.It also comes with plastic separators that fit nicely into their grooves. Our phones fit fine in each of the spaces. But be aware that tablets with cases may not fit in the spaces. Even though the plastic separators are of two different heights, the space between all of the separators is identical. The space is fine for phones, but not necessarily for tablets with cases. You may likely end up either charging the tables out of their cases, or laying the tablet flat for charging.

My husband ordered this to sit on a table next to his recliner. The charging station is easy to use; the plastic dividers keep coming out; the power cord does not stay attached to charging station, it is easily disengaged; the cords for attaching to devices are very short. It would be nice to have several that were 18'', or longer, for keeping it attached to the charging station while using a device. Otherwise, it does charge, and there is a blue light to let you know it is operational. I found a longer charging cord to attach to his tablet so my husband can use it from his chair. The charging station has been a constant irritation for my husband, but he does not want to send it back because it does work.

Liked the variety of devices we can charge.I could put the chords in the back for looks, just felt like it was easier having them in the front.
