This is the first Amazon review I have ever written. I am writing it because these chairs were flawed to the point of user liability. Upon first assembly they looked incredibly gorgeous, with a nice weight. Then I sat on them, and they cracked immediately, sending me flying to the floor. I landed against my wall luckily, and the chair went the other way.The hairline fractures in the seat resulted in two perfectly parallel cracks by the center. I believe this was due to an error in the assembly (perhaps flawed wood sample with the screw applied too tightly.Incredibly disappointed in the product, the brand, and Amazon for endorsing this with "Amazon Vine". Would not recommend, and just surprised to find a product like this with some many "Amazon Vine" reviews. Disappointing.

These are good stools for the price and appear to be the same as models being sold under other well known brands - but for half the price. Assembly is pretty straight forward, if a little time consuming - but all parts are packaged well. It is not particularly "precision engineered", but there is enough play and adjusting feet that you can make up for things not being 100% square. The top/seat looks good enough, but it doesn't appear to be solid wood all the way through. Time will tell how well it holds up. One thing to note: the seat tops vary a bit in color. I ordered two sets (four seats) and one stood out as darker and all had variance. Given the rustic vibe of my furniture, this was fine - but just be aware if this is going to be an issue for you.

I love these stools. The seats are made of good sturdy wood. I gave it five stars for comfort because there is no flaw with the stool however I would say if you were sitting on them for a very long time as an any hardwood it might not be that comfortable other than that these are great and everyone thinks they're beautiful. I would advise getting a second person to assemble these I put them together myself because they were a gift for my boyfriend and I couldn't ask him for help the four stools took about 90 minutes to put together if I had had a second person it would have got twice as fast. This is because you have to balance the Rings and screw them in you can do it alone but four hands would make it easier

These chairs are a great bargain compared to what they sell for in stores for a more industrial-style type stool like these.We purchased these for a bar area in our dining room. They’re very sturdy and easy to set to the desired height.They look great and add some great style to any room where you might need extra seating.

These are very nice, sturdy bar stools. The feet are adjustable so they are not wobbly. The finish is pretty much black, not grey toned. The only reason I did not give these 5 stars was because the wood tops came in two different stains. One is pretty dark, like a mocha finish, and the other is lighter, more similar to the picture. It is an obvious enough difference that you can notice from across the room. I sat on one for about an hour and was comfortable. I am overall satisfied with these stools.

Stools are expensive and hard to find the perfect ones. We were thrilled when we found these and absolutely love them! We bought four so essentially putting them together got easier with each one. They were not hard to assemble but they are time consuming. For the price there’s are by far better than other we looked at. The only draw back is the adjustable feet change easily so they often need adjusting.

Looks like they added a cross beam to make it stronger. Saw the other review and took a chance. Worked out great. Much stronger than others. A little dry my bees waxCutting board oil. took care of that
