Excellent quality and taste, but has risen in price rather rapidly
Excellent product & secure packaging. This is a high quality Ceylon tea with great black currant flavor. Ceylon tea, for some reason unknown to me, has a milder flavor without the bitter note that other black teas have. This is probably my favorite tea, either hot or iced. I used to buy it more frequently, but unfortunately, the IMPRA brand teas have gone up quite a lot in price in a relatively short period of time. My local Asian grocery store no longer stocks it for this reason, so I have to resort to ordering it online.

I finally found some!!
Nowhere in any of my grocery stores near me, or any of the specialty stores sell black currant tea. Thank goodness I found these online. They taste great. I was a little worried because of the price point that they were going to be crappy. But they are not, as long as you make your cup right, they are really good. I make iced tea with these. I’m so spoiled with these now that a regular plain old glass of iced tea taste terrible.

Good taste and value
I first discovered black current tea at Jason's Deli. Loved it!. Couldn't find it in groceries so searched the Amazon. This box was the best value for price. Taste is good. Just wish I had a choice of decaf.

For flavor & cost/bag, Impra is a winner - so long as you’re okay with “nature identical flavour”.
Of the few black currant tea choices out there, this is my choice for flavor and price. If I were a purist however, I’m not sure this would be my choice. For comparison, the Harney & Sons Black Currant tea comes in nicer sachets and a stylish tin that keeps the freshness in. But when it comes to flavor, particularly Black Currant, the Harney falls short and the Impra prevails. To be fair, the Harney and Sons Black Currant Tea ingredients state “ Black tea, currants, natural black currant flavor”. In comparison, the Impra ingredients state "Black tea with Nature Identical Blackcurrant flavour." It’s my understanding that nature identical means synthetically similar flavors sourced from natural ingredients. So for 4 times the cost per bag, you get natural black current tea with the Harney, whereas you get nature identical black currant flavor with the Impra at a quarter of the cost.

Impra Black Currant tea was a hit!
We were introduced to this tea at a friend’s house and everyone was raving about the taste. We asked where to find it and she said it’s from Amazon. So we ordered our own and it was reasonably priced and came within a couple of days. If you like tea, you’ll love this one!

Great Tasting Black Currant
I’ve made both hot tea and iced tea using this tea, and it is excellent. If you want to make 64 ounces of cold brewed iced tea use 3 black currant iced tea bags and 6 black iced tea bags. Put in fridge and wait at least 8 hours before removing the bags (I usually wait overnight). I most highly recommend this product.
