I poured over different brands of blackout drapes/curtains and their corresponding user reviews before deciding to purchase these. I'm so glad I chose them. Not only do they block the outside light exceptionally well, they are beautiful and have the appearance of being much more expensive than they really are. Also, I love that they're white on the back side (facing the window).UPDATE: I purchased two additional pair of these to put up in a room my nephew is currently using at my house (he works nights/sleeps during the day). I was a little nervous because I chose the khaki panels, which are a much lighter shade than the dark grey I'd previously purchased. NO PROBLEM. They are every bit as awesome as the first pair I'd purchased. If you're needing blackout curtains that are affordable, beautiful, and EFFECTIVE, look no further. Order these.

They do the job ... better than I expected. The block the light and the faux linen finish adds a touch of class. Will be ordering more. Can see a difference when I close them when we had two windy days in a row. Amazon shipped both sets in White ... had ordered kakai for the 72" which I used in my bedroom but the white where actually a better choice 😂🤣

These curtains are well made. I ordered the white and they do darken the room but do not black out the room. One of my panels had a couple of small spots on them but I chatted with Amazon and they sent a new pair out immediately so I could swap out the one panel. Overall I’m happy with the purchase. I feel like the white is a little less linen like than reviews mentioned and a bit shinier. Bottom line...great quality for the price, just wish they made my room a little darker. I included a picture still haven’t steamed out wrinkles but seems like they will steam out easily and stay wrinkle free.

After a steamy ironing the curtains look great. They do kind of feel like a shower curtain, but the linen look is nice. I took the first picture when afternoon sun was beating down into the window. As soon as I closed the curtains, I could feel the room getting cooler

I find that these do a great job of blocking outside light. They are so-so for noise; they help but you still hear some stuff. I reading other reviews and the complaints about them I can tell you they aren't using enough pairs to work properly. You can't take a large window and put one pair of panels up and stretch them as far as they will go and expect to keep out the light. For anything bigger than a normal single window you need at least two pairs. Not two panels, two pairs. They will work well if used properly. Also, to help with light coming out of the top you need to raise your curtain rod higher on the wall. If you put it at the top edge of your window it isn't going to keep out the light at the top.

If your like me in the terms of, when you come onto amazon looking for something and it takes you a few days of looking through different products and reviews, doing your research until you actually find a product you feel confident in. Hello nice to meet you. So it took me a few days looking for curtains that fit my needs and fit the style I was looking for, for my bedroom. And I’m so happy I stumbled upon these . AMAZING price, Awesome quality, The amount of blackout it provides is just what I needed for my off days when I want to pretend it’s still 2am when it’s 11am. This was a great buy for me. And I will be buying other colors for other rooms in my house. I highly recommend these, and that’s coming from someone that really takes time to research and look at other products and wastes more time out of their life than they should for 1 thing.

I ordered these blackout curtains for two big reasons:1. My house is old and has its original, not so good any more windows. I also live in Texas. This means I need protection from 100+ degree days!! Winters can also get pretty chilly here in the northern part of the state.2. I live almost right across the street from a fire station!! That’s right, I have light shows and sirens at all times of night.Now, I have to admit, I am not crazy about the “creamy white” color. It is more of a grayish white. But it still works and it will probably grow on me. The fabric is also a little stiff, but hangs very nicely.PS: Here are the curtains during the brightest afternoon sun. I am well pleased. They are even better at night!! Of course, they can’t block out the sirens from the fire station, but NO MORE LIGHT SHOWS AT 3AM!!! 😂
