A++++++ Manga really enjoying it.
This is by far one of the coolest mangas I have ever read, very interesting, and very creative. The art is beautiful, the fan service fits the story perfectly. It explains a lot of it and it makes sense somewhat. I enjoyed this story and can't wait for Volume 7 to come out. It's a shame that the novel isn't in English. I would love to read it.

Full of Twists
Good series that continues to get more intense each volume.

A step closer to the end...
As the series draws to its closer to its end (Volume 7 is the conclusion), the penultimate volume ramps up the action, the bloodshed and the drama. The art continues to be beautiful, capturing a desolate and changed world, and the characters brim with life. I'm sad to see that the series will be ending in the next volume, but I'm very glad that I took the journey along with these characters.This volume packs in the action and violence, throwing new oddities and killer creatures at the cast of characters as they begin their exploration of an unrecognizable Tokyo. The action ramps up as the final battle draws near, and as it has been through out the entire series, no character is safe. Amid of all of this craziness the characters still find ways to become closer, and the bonds the forge give the story an added weight.Only hinted at in this volume is the sometimes explicit lesbian sex scenes that seemed to pop up through out the series, with the page count being devoted more the quest then to fan service. (As a side note, as random as the sex scenes were in past volumes, it was shocking how much their absence took away from the much more toned down and straight washed anime version. Guess they had a point after all.)While this volume is mostly a set up for the finale, it still includes enough story to make it feel worth it.Seriously, if you are not reading From the New World, you really should be. It is exciting, smart, sexy and intense. While its more extreme content may not be for everyone (especially not younger readers), it is still a worthwhile series. Check it out!

"I do have your trust, do I not?"
From the New World is a layered story building of events all the way back to the first volume. Don't start here - read from the beginning.Saki and company flee to the devastated remains of a once great city in search of a last ditch defense against the invading army and its fiend. Unfortunately there are some who think their allies might be more dangerous than facing their greatest weakness...Everything's coming together nicely in this penultimate volume. Long running themes and questions continue to have great impact and relevance, pushing and testing the characters in horrific ways. I have a pretty good idea what awaits next volume, but the series has surprised me numerous times before. Either way it should be a wild ride to the end. The style and atmosphere is as always - great art, brutal violence, excessive fanservice, and incredible tension.Overall volume 6 is a strong ramp up to From the New World's end next volume. As curious as I am to see how it all turns out, I will be sad to see this manga end.

One of the best series I've ever read!
One of the best series I've ever read! It would be amazing if someone also published the original novel from Yusuke Kishi, 'cause I would definitely buy it!If you don't actually know the series, give it a try: a dystopian world in which something like telekinesis and mind-manipulation exists, in which monsters and humans are not so different and far away from each other – a world in which you would definitely fall without realizing it!(Give it a try also with the anime, because it's really beautiful and well done!)
