Solidly good job hardware wise, a life saver, but really cut corners on external aesthetics.
I’m editing my review here to 4 stars, because my initial review was 2 stars. For me 2 stars is just awful, and rarely that low. But they reached out to me as to why I Gabe them 2. They listened, and made it right by letting me keep the case and refunded my money. Awesome.I’m updating my Pros and Cons:Pros:The battery backup works exactly as expected. Basically is a giant butt saver if you’re phone is about to die. You don’t have to hold the button on the case for 3 seconds though. Just as soon as you’re battery indicator on you’re iPhone shows the lightning bolt, it’s charging. And they never mention it, but you can charge the case on it’s own without having your phone in it.Cons:This was in my initial review, and I stick by this. The internal hardware works pretty darn well, but they but corners big-time on the external plastic. At least on the red plastic model. It looks really cheapo on a 256 GB iPhone X. The LED lights just sort of cheaply glow through the case. It’s not a pretty thing to put your prized phone into. Also, instructions on how to actually get your phone OUT of the case after removing the top piece would help.

Bought Two - Both Mistake
Top too easily comes off. Case bent due to sun or something? Won't hold charge after 5 months. Definitely pass on this one. Looks good initially at the price point, but not worth it.

The top does NOT stay on. Comes off too easily.
I lost the top on the first one, and because I really liked it otherwise, I bought a second one. The top on the second one comes off even easier. It comes off in my purse, in my jeans pocket, just putting it down on my desk it pops off. Do NOT waste your money on this.
