Printing Practice Handwriting Workbook for Girls

This is a beautiful book, and I recommend it. However, I have one con for it. My daughter is 8, so still in the learning phase. The book is great, but she doesn't quite know yet where the letters should go on the line. The only place in the book that shows this is in the beginning. I wish the examples or traceable words on each page were put on lines so she could see how they fit on a line as well. As is I have to write the word first so she can copy mine. If I had known that I could have bought blank lined paper for much cheaper and done it all myself. Overall I am happy with it and so is she, but it may be for older girls who know how they are supposed to write letters already.

I was really excited for this book to use with my third grader to help her get back on track with handwriting. In general, I like the set up of the book, starting with tracing and then copying the sentences on her own. I liked that it was using girly themes like cupcakes and butterflies, kindness and flower gardens. I was disappointed to see them then throw in some pages on vampires and zombies, words like "gothic clothing" and a page full of creepy "scary" phrases. I wish they had kept the whole book light and cheerful but since they didn't, I ended up tearing some pages out. Also a bit silly that now she knows how to write "Sixty percent off sale!" (We had to laugh pretty hard at that, love that she's being taught the important things in life such as compassion, kindness, and shopping sales!) All in all, I like the wacky sentence book much better.

Would give 5 stars if it offered cursive practice as well as regular penmanship.

The workbook arrived on time and was in good condition. I purchased this for my nine year old to practice writing neater. She likes it and I have her write one page a day. I am noticing her letters are getting better too.

Cute handwriting book.

This has been the only handwriting book that my daughter has actually been enthusiastic about using and has not protested. She actually enjoys writing the "girly" words and seems to do a better job because it's stuff that the is interested in.

Great help for teaching kids how to write.... my daughter works on this all the time 💖🌸

My second grade daughter loves writing in this book! She has so much fun while practicing her penmanship.
