Fantastic quality, about as close in consistency to block or powder chalk as I've experienced
Having used several brands of liquid chalk in the past, I've found a new favorite in this item. The consistency and staying power once dry on the hands is pretty darned close to block or powder chalk. I was pleasantly surprised at just how good this product is and how little it takes during my last pull day. The last liquid chalk I used seemed fine - until I tried this brand and was reminded of what it feels like to have some real chalk on the hands again. Also really like that I got so much product for the price compared to other liquid chalk listings here on Amazon. This big ol' bottle is going to last me for quite a while. This accomplishes about a good a job of staying on the hands without the need for re-application between sets on heavy deadlifts as one can reasonably expect. A little bit will do ya for at least a couple of sets, if not more. But let's be realistic; if you're getting ready to do your top set, you'd probably want to re-apply a little more block chalk too - at least I do. One more thing: if you are used to the more watered-down brands that won't get even a trace of chalk dust on anything whatsoever, be prepared for wiping down the bar, getting a little on your pants if you forget and touch them (I don't care - after all, it's gym clothing and can be brushed off or washed out). However, it is still so much less messy than block or powder chalk. I don't mind doing a quick bar wipe-down in exchange for having a dependable product that actually shores up my grip effectively. Amount shown in first image was applied to both hands. The other hand looks about the same, but I had to use one of them to take the second photo-

Best of its type
Great project. I have gone through several bottles. Easy to apply. Easy clean up. Enhances grip. A bottle lasts me about a year of 3x week use.

Works very well and very little to no mess
This product helped so much during today’s heavy chest day. I had absolute grip on the handles and bars and the chalk did not dirty clothes or equipment. We still wiped down the handles and bars of the equipment as a courtesy but there was no mess on them. I could see a faint bit of chalk on the plates from grabbing them and putting on and off the bar or machines but that’s it. This product DEFINITELY works as intended and we used very little as needed. This bottle is actually a great size for the value. It will last a very long time and I’ll be buying another soon to have a backup. Will definitely buy again. Fits perfectly in my mini sports backpack, where I place it in the water bottle side pockets for easy access. Great product.

Very good
I used the SPORTMEDIQ Pro Grade Liquid Chalk and it improves grip during lifting and pulling exercises. It dries fast on the hands and creates a solid layer that reduces slipping on bars and weights. The application is simple. A small amount spreads easily and turns tacky within seconds, which lets you train without long pauses. During workouts like deadlifts and pull-ups, the grip stays consistent for multiple sets. It reduces sweat buildup and helps maintain control under heavy load. Compared to loose chalk, it creates less mess and does not leave dust on equipment or clothing.

Better than regular chalk!
I find it is far richer and thicker than chalk, so I don't lose grip on Deadlifts. It's also a thousand times cleaner than chalk (which makes a mess the gym owner doesn't appreciate).

Feels almost like actual chalk
Is this the best liquid chalk I ever used, no. However it is the best replacement for the best liquid chalk I ever used. I used to use a brand called Spider Hands (there’s a brand sold on Amazon with a similar name, but that’s not it) but I guess it got discontinued. It literally dried up like you had actual chalk on your hands, best grip strength I’ve ever had, and I’m someone who can deadlift over 400lbs. I’ve been searching for a replacement since it was discontinued and all other brand I’ve tried had done no justice. They usually leave a weird sticky residue on my hand that did nothing for my grip. This brand however, is the best thing I’ve found as a replacement, does feel similar to chalk on your hands, the grip strength is pretty good as well. I will continue to buy when I run out of my current bottle.

Great Liquid Chalk for any lift!
THIS.... Is SPORTMEDIQ Pro Grade Liquid Chalk, and something I learned right off the bat with this is that a little bit goes a long way! This chalk is big enough to buy and forget about buying it again, and I found it held up on big lifts just about as well as actual chalk. The biggest surprise was that it was slightly well-scented! When it comes to application, a pea-sized blob really does the job here for this, and just like other chalk, needs to be reapplied every few sets depending on how heavy of a lift you are doing, sweaty your hands are....etc. It goes on easily and dries quick, but not so quickly you can't spread it around. I would say this is quite similar to chalk, but not quite 100% chalk. It is great, don't get me wrong! However, I found for heavy heavy lifts I just prefer chalk. That is ok! Because 95% of the time this is the best option, especially if there is no chalk available at the gym. That being said, I now use chalk for Dumbells and lower weight lifts because this makes it so much easier to grip and prevent from sliding, and is so easy to put on why not? At the end of the day, this is about as good as it gets! From a great smell, easy application, and a bottle big enough to not think about getting new chalk before a new PR! I carry this in my gym bag every day, and think you should as well.
