Amazing book ! My two teenage daughter are going through a hard time with there mom using Oxy! The book was a great! Highly recommend the book to everyone ! Not only kids ! I started using the book even though she was my wife ! I still need to heal from a horrible marriage with an addict!

Good book! Very helpful

Useful for more than just drugs and alcohol issues. I will use pieces of it to help student recognize feelings they have and to know that all feelings are ok and normal to have and that it is good to talk about them with people you trust. This is an excellent resource.

If you are looking for a book to help your child understand drug addiction and/or alcoholism, do order this book. My 10 year old nephew had so many unaswered questions that I did not even realize until I ordered him this book.

I use it at work and it fits a need

These books are an excellent tool for anyone working with children or even for families to use with their own children.....after years of experience as a therapist, this is still my favorite!!!

This book helped me explain to my grand daughter, all the things I needed to explain concerning her mother's disease. Very simply written, but very powerful!! My grand daughter is almost 9 years old & this has been such a blessing!

It may work for children with deeper issues, but I found it too harsh. I got to the 3rd page and decided to hide it from my great-niece. I felt it would make her feel worse. If you need something that is not at all subtle, this is it. If you want something that explains addiction in a heartfelt way, this isn't it.

The content is like a scrap book, well it is an activity book. The quality was poorer that I expected. The content is well thought out in regards to helping children. It arrive in good condition.

Some helpful ideas in here but if you are working with more than one child expensive to buy book each and fill in pages.
