BaffinWolf Men's Snow Boots, for Winter Conditions
R**.
This is the best snow boot I have ever owned.
Well worth the money. Very nice quality. The only thing wrong is the sizing. They run small so you need to order a size up. Very warm and comfortable. You won’t be disappointed.

Great Boots
This is my first time purchasing a boot, my parents always did it for me so I didn't really know the sizes so I took a big guess on this. I chose a size 10 since I'm a size 10 shoe, and I believe I did good on it. They do feel kind of snug but I'm thinking it's because of all the padding. These are also light weight, I showed them to my dad since he typically don't like these kind of boots. He seems to really like these ones because of the weight of them. But, that being said I still have some trouble walking in them. It does not bother me since I don't run in the snow but if you're on dry ground you may find yourself needing to take bigger steps than normal. They are predicting the 2012 northeast winter (where I live) to be bad, and after I seen the snow we got a few days ago BEFORE winter even set in I decided to get these so I would not regret it later on in the winter. I would also like to add that these snow boots are really warm, I cannot wear them inside to long or else I find myself starting to get hot. Also, I seen that the padding is removable. I've tried to remove some but I'm unable to do so. If anyone knows how to do this let me know because it seems like it's attached to the boot pretty tightly. Now for the strap. The strap in my opinion is not really useful since it don't really seem to keep it tight enough where the snow won't go down inside of it. In this case I would suggest bringing a few extra pairs of socks with you if you're going to be out in the snow somewhere. You could also wear a snow bib which would help prevent snow from going down inside of the boot. The boot seems to also reflect light, which is good if you're in the dark. I didn't even know it had this until someone said something to be about it.The traction on the bottom of this boot is also really great! I cannot wait to try it out when it gets really snowy this winter.Overall I really like these boots compared to the other $140 pair I was looking at that was rated for -100F. I think I did pretty good on the purchase, though if you're going by your shoe size I would try one size up just to be safe since its kind of snug around your feet. I can see how that would get annoying after walking around for long hours if it's not meant to be that way. If you have any questions about the boot feel free to comment and I will respond as soon as I can.

These are great cold-weather boots
Background:I'm from Phoenix, and I've done a lot of backpacking, but I do not have a lot of experience in the snow/intense cold.Experience:I took these on a snowshoeing trek through Colorado in December. During the day while being active, my feet were sweating profusely at 15 F. You'll want to bring many extra wool socks to have some socks dry for when you stop moving.Warmth:A cold front moved in, and temps dipped to -15 F. We were up late, so I was using the boots in these temps with my feet often fully immersed in snow. When stagnant, my toes were a bit cold. Nothing too crazy, just a little chilly. Also though, I was dehydrated (I didn't know this at the time, but dehydration will make your feet colder) and my body was not used to the cold (Phoenix had been about low-70's before I left). As soon as we started gathering more firewood at about midnight, my feet warmed right up.Sizing:The sizing on these boots were a little off for me. I'm a size 11-12 for normal shoes, and I have slightly wide feet. I ordered a size 11 for these shoes and they felt almost 2 sizes too big. My friend is a size 13 (~12.9), and he fit into it perfectly. He and my other friend have the Baffin Selkirk and those are true to size (12 and 13). I gave the size 11 to my size 13 friend, he returned his Selkirk (Too warm for what we were doing), and I ordered a size 10. 10 is near perfect (just slightly big). It's perfect though width-wise.Structure:These boots are very flexible around the ankle and have regular flexibility on the sole. This is what I prefer but have been told that it's best to have a stiff sole for extended periods walking in snow. I had snowshoes on, so it didn't make a difference.Fun Facts:*These boots are completely waterproof.*They are non-breathable.*These are one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Possibly the most comfortable.*On the same trip, I used the boots as snowboarding boots. They happened to fit in my bindings well. I snowboarded for about thirty minutes. It felt completely normal except that the binding was sort of digging into the back of my leg. It was a little uncomfortable, but not too bad. If I had some kind of stiff surface in the boot, it would have been just like regular snowboarding. In either case, I probably could have snowboarded for several hours.

Warm and comfy boots, but sizing issue
Got my hands (or should I say feet?) on the Baffin Men's Wolf Snow Boots, and they didn't disappoint... mostly.First off, shoutout to the speedy delivery – these boots showed up at my doorstep quicker than expected.Slipping these on, they felt like clouds on my feet. I was pleasantly surprised that they're not just all about function; they look pretty sleek too! Now, the warmth factor? Top-notch. They hug your feet just right, and those side straps make it easy to customize the fit around the ankle and calf. Super convenient. Here's the hiccup, though. While they snugly cradle the front of my feet, the heel area is a bit of a letdown. My heel kept doing a little lift-off, and it's not the moonwalk I signed up for. Seems like I might've gone a tad too big – no half sizes, so it's a bit of a bummer.Sadly, these boots and I are parting ways. If they had half sizes, I'd probably give it another shot. For now, they're going back. Despite the sizing hiccup, I'd still recommend them. Just maybe double-check that size chart!

Great boots!!!
I love these boots. I am in southern Ontario on the shores of Lake Huron where January February brings us harsh winter weather every year these boots held there own In intense snowsqualls. Kept me warm and totally dry. Easy to walk in too. Not too clunky
