Perfect stock replacement.

Does not fit right 2001 Silverado Z71.
After 3 hours messing with this realize I should have gotten a Dorman or AC Delco reman. Will not line up. Old starter came out in 30 minutes. This one does not line up properly with or without heatshield. Had another mechanic come and we made up some new cursed words today. May fit other vehicles but if you have a canadian made Silverado Z71 save the aggravation and time and get a reman ac delco. Time is money. So are busted knuckles.

Great value
This starter was waaaaaay cheaper than a reman starter for my 5.3 LS from the local auto parts stores. It came quick, fit like OEM and works great. What more can you ask for?

Missing screw
Product came in but was missing one of the two screws it’s supposed to come with, other then that it would have met expectations

This starter did not even last 8 9 months. Buyer beware.
I bought this product in good faith but I guess it's buyer beware. Now I had to get another one and pay again for it to be installed. No more buying motor parts on line for me. Waste of my hard earned money.
