A friend at work let me borrow hers and now I need it! It's is so cool! Not only does it hold my cell phone, no matter what brand, but it also holds ANYTHING I need an extra hand for. I can use it to hold small parts together while waiting for the glue to dry, to hold ice cream cones and popsicles when I need a free hand, I use it to keep the table cloth from blowing off during picnics, to hang the phone on the back of my headrest so my toddler can watch Blues Clues in the car. It is impossible to break, and very strong.

This is a blatant clone of the Spiderpodium. If you have a philosophical problem with buying it because of that fact, that's understandable. On the other hand, because this a clone of the Spiderpodium in form and function, it works as well as the original. I know this because I own both the original (which I bought a few years ago), and this knockoff which I recently bought. I just installed it today. Other than the different appearance of the center of the mount, it looks and feels the same. The wires have the same stiffness and the rubber has the same feel. Since I haven't owned it for very long, I don't know how durable it will be. For example, if you bend it over and over again, will it break? But for now, I'm very happy with my purchase.

I purchased this product in an attempt to make my flights a bit more enjoyable. In that regard, this is an excellent product. The spider holder securely holds my iPhone. I've flown multiple times with it, and with various airlines, and I've found that it easily secures to a locked tray, which is great because then it holds my iPhone at eye level for comfortable, hands free movie viewing.

I bought this holder to hang on my desktop monitor when I skype with my daughter. It is perfect for the application I bought it for. Also, can be used to stand my iphone up on a table. Very handy.

If you can get past that you have an Alien/Arachnid-like-creature on your dash - then its great! Easy to use and really is the best phone holder I've had over the past 10 years.
