Spin Master Games Harry Potter Catch The Golden Snitch Family Game Night

Every Potter fan should have this. It’s a really fun family game. I love how the snitch always flys out. Very cute !

While a bit complex to play the first few times (much like the actual game of quidditch), it gets easier and is loads of fun. Fast paced and fun for adults and kids (tested at age 8 in my house). It is a somewhat chaotic game with balls flying all over the room, so be ready to be rambunctious. Not to be played near breakable objects. They did a great job of transferring the excitement and speed of the book into a non-flying game for Muggles.

Got this for my nephew for Christmas and he loved it. So much fun for kids!! I'd say of course anyone who loves HP this is a must. Probably ages 6/7 or up would be best. It's not a huge game that takes up a lot of space. It's super cute to watch the kids get really into it. Good value for the money.

This game is SMALL. A little bigger than two playing cards end to end. The snitch has a post attached to it, which was disappointing for my child who wanted to carry it around and play with it, but the post makes the snitch easier to catch when it shoots up. This game is fun for kids and adults, although slightly TOO fast paced for my 6 year old. With some rule modifications it has been great though! The balls have the plastic feel and bounce like ping pong balls so they don’t hurt when they get thrown at you.

It takes time to learn the rules but once you do it's great fun! It's always hilarious to see when the snitch pops up :)

This game is awesome especially if you are looking for a quick family game night game. Bonus is it is Harry Potter themed!!!! Each round lasts about 5 minutes. We did have to make some additional rules like "no throwing the bludger at people's heads but other than that it is super fun!!!

Bought this for my 12 yr old HP fan. It seemed fun before purchasing, but by the time we all (fam of 4: 12 yr old, 9 yr old, myself and husband) read the encyclopedia of how to play and all the stipulations, cards, actions for this that and the third….we opted not to even play. It was too overwhelming which sucks the fun out of a game. Not sure we’ll ever bother playing. I was hoping it was more like a trivia of some sort, not all this “if this, do that” 25 diff ways. And also, don’t forget to be sure to smack the hard plastic ball at the other players when it pops up and hope no one screams crying while whoever gets whacked - and now has one eye open or a bleeding gash - now gets to pull more cards. We’ll pass.

Fun game for kids and adults!

Nephew (8 yrs) loved this. He drove everyone crazy wanting to play this.

It's a fun game but definitely a little chaotic. It's good to play in a place where you have lots of space so the bludgers don't know stuff over when thrown or swatted. It's also so hard to see the bludgers coming at you and you'll probably get hit in the face a lot if you're not quick. Still a super fun Harry Potter game with lots of family action, we just need a good amount of space to play.

This game is fast paced and has a steep learning curve, but it is now a family fave and one my 7 year old often asks for.
