I mainly use this product to measure herbs for cooking in the kitchen, and it seems to be very accurate as far as measuring small amounts. It’s easy to read and very simple to use. I would say go for it.

Great scale. Easy to use and accurate. My students use these for mass experiments as they are very easy for them to use and understand.

Build quality could be a little more robust, but accuracy is good. Factory calibration seems ok, a newer nickel weighs exactly 5.00 gm. Otherwise it’s small, convenient and precise for weighing herbs, hobby use, food ingredients and other medicinal uses. One thing to note, when zeroed this scale isn’t sensitive enough to register items less than .05 gm, but you can work around this limitation by first placing an additional item (>.05gm) on weigh platform without using tare function and it will register the lighter item in .01 gm increments; from there you can figure out your item’s weight with some simple subtraction. If you need to frequently weigh less than .05 gm items you’ll want a scale with milligram (.001 gm) precision.

The shipping was fast and the scale seems pretty accurate according to my 100g calibration weight. There are instructions on the lid for people like me who don't keep user manuals. Two AAA batteries were also included. Packaging was also nice.
