Blackhorn 209 Measuring Tubes

Good quality product, seals up nicely no concern for plug slipping out. Markings appear correct for volume measurements. Good price.

These appear to be quite durable, and they are accurately marked. I measured 56 grn of Pyrodex very soon after the bottle was opened, and it came out to 80 on the tube, just as expected. You can't do one-handed removal of the tube stopper, but the plug holds the powder securely in the tube with no chance of opening until you're ready to use it. They don't hold a round like the speed loaders, but I don't need that and they are see-thru for measuring, which is valuable as I don't need to carry my flask and graduated cylinder on a hunt.

I personally use them as quick loads and they work great. Stuff the front with some papertowel, then put my Hornady SST 250gr., then two 50gr Triple 777 pellets and I'm good to go.

I set up my powder measure and weighed out the amount of grains I desired to use. I did this a couple times just to be certain using blackhorn 209. Poured into the tube’s and the measure line was very accurate. So now I’m very confident with each shot I put down range. I’ll be ready for the elk and maybe moose. Hopefully I can draw.

Nice little item for the muzzle loader enthusiast. I actually use a scale but the volume markings are nice as well. Very handy item.

A star off due to price of what was there. The measure on the side doesn't match with the measure of Blackhorn from an actual measurer, but does help to gut check you're not overloading.I like the cap as I can hold the muzzle and the tube in one hand and pull off the cap with the other, pour the powder and then with one hand (the cap is laying face up on the table) just recap with makes everything tidy and quick.

Work great and they are made very well.
