Q: Can you layer it over wall to wall carpeting?

Our daughter has it over carpet in her dorm room and has not had any issues.

Q: Does it lay down?? I purchased it and the ends are rolling forward. Will it lay down eventually??

Reversing Area Rug Curls If your area rug is so curled that it doesn't want to lie flat even after a few days, another technique often helps. Reverse roll it for a few days to retrain the carpet fibers and backing. If the rug was rolled so the top side faced out, roll it the other way, so the backing faces out. Secure it with a belt or a piece of twine, tight enough to hold the roll but not so tight it creates an impression on the rug. Set the rolled rug outside on a porch or in a somewhat sunny location for a couple days, bringing it back each evening or if rain is in the forecast. Help for Curled Corners If the rug was stored for a long time with its backing side facing out, there's a good chance the rug corners curl upwards once you unroll the rug on the floor. While it may be tempting to place something heavy on each corner to stop the curl, Plush Rugs states that the best way to deal with this issue is to curl those corners under for a couple days. Gently roll each corner downwards and tuck the points under the rug so the weight of the rug keeps the corners down. The tucked corners should look like gentle curves downward, creating a bubble or pocket at each corner, rather than sharp creases. After a few days, tug the corner points back out to flatten the area rug into its fully relaxed position; the corners should stay flat as well.
