For those that prefer to shave with a hard soap rather than cream, there is no better way to lather up than with one of these traditional scuttles. This classic example is made in England in the famous 'Potteries' district of Stoke-on-Trent. Simply fill with hot water and dip the brush into the large spout to wet it as required. Comes complete with 60g shaving soap (mildly fragranced).

Nostalgia Still Available
Certainly takes you back, so well made. My only concern was possible damage in the post, all was well it was so well packed and arrived early. Makes you feel like you're back in the fifties, surprisingly works better than modern kit. Feels good using it in an odd sort of way, a bit like riding on a steam train.
