Let me start by saying this product is designed for skateboards which have planes of flat space that make mounting this 3 inch by 3 inch box easy. It has been adapted for use on bikes and adapted poorly!The company includes two mediocre velcro straps that are stuffed through screw hole mounts. There has been no meaningful revision of the product for use on bikes. The straps do not hold substantial weight and I broke them by applying a few pounds of pressure. I also have a Giant mountain bike with an irregular sized frame down tube. As a result, I could not fasten the light set to my bike with the included velcro strips.The LED strip is bright - which is why we are interested in buying this product. The 3M adhesive strip on the back of the strip is worthless. I accidentally pealed mine off while trying to install it on my bike and I recommend you intentionally do this!I also have some choice words about the 4 pin connection system which is reminiscent of an internal hard drive for a desktop. This connects the battery box to the LED strip.That being said all of the problems of attaching it securely to your bike can be addressed through the purchase of an additional $10 product from Amazon. Extreme Outdoor Velcro! - I recommend the 6 inch by 4 inch pack and a pair of scissors.The Extreme Outdoor Velcro has industrial adhesion and easily sticks to the back of the 3 inch by 3 inch box, the back of the LED strip, and my metal bike frame. I recommend using the soft fuzzy velcro for the bike frame as its more pliable than the stiff, all-weather hook and loop receiver strips of the velcro. It also has the added benefit of making the LED strip removable and transferable to another bike frame in the future.I had to scrap off the foam cushion on the back of the battery box - I used a meta paint scrapper to remove it and clean the surface.The velcro holds up to 15 pounds and easily and securely holds the battery box and LED strip in place. Its definitely overkill, but I don't want a $50 battery box falling off my bike. It probably takes around 15 to 30 minutes of installation time to customize the product and install it securely on your bike.The end product is worth the extra work. The LED strip is very bright and is a great addition to your bike's light system. If you interested in this product, I also recommend Monkey Light Bike Lights for your wheels.UPDATE------------------------I purchased this item approximately 1 year ago. With less than six months of wear (as I don't ride my bike outside during the winter) the 4 pin connection system failed today - 06/30/2020 10:30 pm.As I said in my original review - the 4 pin connection system is garbage. It is completely inadequate for regular use (the disconnection and re-connection of a batter requires a more robust connection) . I charged the lights approximately every five days. After fewer than 30 charges the 4 wires leading into the housing of the battery detached from the solder. The case is sealed with no screws to gain entry to repair it. Tossed in garbage.

Thirdkind led lights are brilliant!....easy to fit to my daughter's bike, they really shine bright in the dark and everyone stops her and asks about them! Delivery was even 3 days earlier than expected!, thanks Amazon and Thirdkind....I'm even thinking of ordering more!!!*****

Love these lights.
These lights are bright and beautiful. They look great on my beach cruiser. The straps are too short to go around the down tube of my bike. So I used zip ties.
