This is a nice sturdy phone holder. I purchased this for my trek city bike and the holder was easy to install and stays in place while you're riding. My mom purchased a different phone holder for the same price and her phone kept sliding upside down on our short bike ride. You can easily adjust and rotate your phone while in the holder and it can lock in to place. It won't fit your phone if you have a pop socket or too much on the back of your case. It comes with multiple rubber rings to ensure it fits all bike sizes and prevents any scratches. It even comes with padding you can stick to the holder if you are worried about it scratching your phone.

This works really well to hold my phone on my ebike. I have a helmet with bluetooth capability and I like to listen to music or be on a call during my rides. This holds my phone in place and I don't worry that it is going to fall out on the ground. It is very sturdy and was easy to install.

a bit difficult to place and remove larger phones (i have an iphone XR in a thin case). the lock is fussy. fairly easy to mount and stays in place even when riding on rough roads and gravel

We got a set of these for our electric bicycles. They work very well. Easy to install and I love that they lock into place. Phones are too expensive to risk them falling out. One Con: it is hard to keep tightened enough on the bike to keep the holder from moving while riding. Sometimes bumps will cause it to twist, changing the angle of the phone. It is easy to push back and this hasn't really caused a problem for me. All in all, very happy with the purchase.

I have to say that I was not expecting such a sturdy mount, at such a low cost. However, what I received was a pleasant surprise. Once mounted, the phone remains secure, and vibration does not seem to affect this. Mounting was a breeze, with only one bolt to fasten. I would recommend to the manufacturer that they begin providing an Allen key with the product. While I happen to have one, not everyone owns an Allen wrench set, and this might put off some customers. **Buyer Alert** The mounting of this unit requires a 5mm hex (Allen) key that does not come with the unit. While these are not expensive tools, it is decidedly inconvenient to discover that one does NOT have the tool required, AFTER receiving the product. For those interested in have a hex key set, there is a fairly decent quality set available at a decent price: TEKTON Hex Key Wrench Set, Inch/Metric, 30-Piece | 25253 Pop the above into your amazon search bar, and you should be all set (if you are in need of one). I'm not removing any stars for the absence of a key. Nowhere in their ad or description to they claim to provide it, and assuming tools will be provided is most often a mistake. Overall, I can highly recommend this mount, especially at such a reasonable price.

pretty cool design and I'm happy to be rid of the rubber bands that were part of the last phone holder I used(on my commuter type bike). so far after one 17 mile ride on less than good roads (read lots of patches etc) this holder held my phone securely and only had one problem...the clamp to the handlebar vibrated loose and the whole assembly rotated down. fortunately my phone didn't hit anything on the way, the clamp never let completely go and the tightening screw wasn't lost... possibilities that would have seriously changed this review. this problem won't stop me from using it as i really like the quick mounting and dismounting of the phone... I will be more diligent regarding that connection though. one thing I like about this holder is how rapidly I can free my phone for picture taking. my other holder was enough of a pain to use for me to not take some pictures as I was going along.. with this holder freeing the phone won't be a hindrance. the mechanism is ingenious and holds my pixel 2 with a lightweight spigen case very nicely using one of the included(3) foam cushions. my son's gs8+with thin case also fit... two very different sized phones. the mechanism doesn't feel real smooth and i am hesitant to lubricate because of the plastics but it is working so far. one other thing to note is the resulting phone and mount stand pretty tall off the handlebar compared to some mounts. not a problem in my case but was notable and I wouldn't mind it being lower and less pronounced definitely not bad though. overall this seems a good mount i would recommend. update. after using for a good testing period I have to remove a star. the basic function is still good... no phone drops and easy phone in and out.. but when there isn't a phone mounted the rattling noise while rolling on any surface is a major distraction. it's too much trouble to take the whole mount off when not needing to mount a phone (all the rubber spacers that allow it to fit the 22mm bar size where i mount it, complicate the process of taking it off and putting it on) so I'll have to come up with a plan b. still i appreciate the basics

Good phone holder

I bought this primarily to use on my daughter’s wheelchair so she can easily access her phone from her chair. She hasn’t had a phone slip-up since! Getting a phone out of your pants pocket from a wheelchair is nearly impossible unless you are wearing cargo pants, and constant opening and closing of your purse is a pain as well. This solves the issue. She used to have a little slip-in pouch that worked great for her phone but the old one wore and and the new model that replaced the one she had allowed to phone to slip out easily. This phone holder anchored on the side of her leg tubing works great. She can position the phone so she can read it, transfer over it into bed or another chair and allows her to have hand-held access easily. It takes jolts over door plates and up and down ramps with no issues losing the phone.
