Don't be put off by the title
I was inspired to explore the world of the Young Avengers when I read the Civil War, which they were a large part of. This book is written from the perspective of Billy Kaplan (Wiccan) as he sets out to find the Scarlet Witch, who he believes to be his mother. It's a beautifully drawn graphic novel with lovable characters and a fantastic storyline. Don't be put off by the title, Children's Crusade. This is a brilliant book that deals with lots of mature issues and there are several sad moments that will leave you either loving or hating the writers. It arrived on time and in a protective laminate sleeve which I liked. I managed to finish it in one night, but I am a bit of a binge reader. Overall, this is probably my favourite Young Avengers graphic novel that I've purchased.

The Scarlet Witch has always been my favourite Marvel character
This book was at the top of my wants list. The Scarlet Witch has always been my favourite Marvel character...and boy was I not happy what Marvel did to her in the first Avengers run. That was one of the main reasons I stopped buying comics. Yet when I heard she was back in the Children's Crusade I had to get it and it was worth it. The artwork is stunning and the story fwell written. There are some amusing moments, especially what Wanda says to Emma when the White Queen tries to take Wiccan and Speed and Hawkeye's reaction when he finds out he had slept with a robot not the real Wanda.. It was good to see a lot of loose ends were tied up and that the Scarlet Witch had been intergrated back into the Marvel universe.

Brilliant
This was the first of the Young Avengers I read (I found this via X-Factor and Rictor), but after reading this I began the arduous task of tracking down the proceeding issues and trade paperbacks to catch up. It's a very good story arc with very good writing, very well-rounded characters and very good art. Engaging and interesting, and highly recommended.

The plot is bonkers but the art is perfect
Children's Crusade tells the story of the Young Avengers on Billy's quest to find the Scarlet Witch. They need to keep ahead of the Avengers and X-men who want Wanda - but not necessarily for the same reasons as Billy. The story starts well, but comes apart at the end, however, the art is so pretty, I don't mind.I wish they'd had interviews with the writer and the artist as context for the story, but that's just a minor quibble.

Insightful
Revolves around the Young Avengers (mostly Wiccan and Speed) on their hunt for the Scarlet Witch. Great Plot and story line with involvement from the Avengers and X-Men. A great tale in the Young Avengers, Avengers and X-Men storys as the Scarlet Witch affects them all. Highly recommended.

Feiticeira Escarlate!

Young Avengers centric but bringing in a big part of the Marvel Universe. Great story, art, and not expensive - Worth the buy!
This Collection Edition collects the nine-issue "Avengers: Children's Crusade" title, a pertinent section from Uncanny X-Men #526, and a one-shot "Avengers: Children's Crusade - Young Avengers #1" story. In it's entirety, the entire story is great, deserving of 5 stars. It brings in so many different aspects of the Marvel Universe into one story - the Avengers, the Young Avengers, the X-Men, X-Factor, and a few outliers like Doctor Doom - as they reintroduce a game-changing element into the Marvel Universe, the Scarlet Witch. It falls under the "Avengers" heading but in all honesty it really should be under the Young Avengers' name since they are at the center of the story. The entire thing is told from Wiccan/Billy Kaplan's perspective, and the team is the one constant throughout the tale. But it heavily relies on other characters, so fans not familiar with this team shouldn't feel left out, especially those of the Scarlet Witch and Magneto. I guess, since it's made clear that the Young Avengers are more than deserving of the title of Avenger, it's a nice nod to how influential the team can be to the Marvel Universe too, because it's made clear that they are. It's really worth the buy. I got it here very reasonably priced, and I have to say that the artwork is top notch. Most of it is done by the same guy who is responsible for initial Young Avengers volume (which is another reason why their name should be on there ), which is needless to say is excellent through and through. Allen Heinberg also wrote that too, and his story here is impactful not on the Marvel Universe but on the reader as well. The only complaint I honestly have is the "Avengers: Children's Crusade - Young Avengers #1" which I have to say is probably and fortunately retconned due to certain events in the time-stream. The artwork is terrible and the story was kinda boring, and from what I understand it was created because the title was falling behind when it was first put on shelves.Overall, it's a great story and one I'd highly recommend.
