Absolutely rubbish, cannot make its mind up one minute the water is too cold when it feels boiling then when it cools down it flashes too hot- dangerous product and seller will not cooperate

Keeps switching off
I bought a brother max thermometer just like this one 7 years ago and it served us well for 6 years until it went kaput. I wanted a new one, mostly as a room thermometer, but I feel very disappointed with the one I got today as it keeps switching off for some reason. I changed the battery, but same thing. Is there some general flaw with the newest model? Is it, perhaps, MEANT to do that as some kind of battery saving thing? It would be a good item if not for that switching off part.

Dangerous product. Please beware.
Dangerously inaccurate. This is a product marketed at parents with babies or young children. It’s highly irresponsible, and I’d suggest the brand and/or seller are likely to end up in legal action at some point.Please don’t rely on this as a gauge for your kids. I tested it with a very accurate infrared surface thermometer, after our little one said that the bath felt very hot. It was out by over 4 degrees. That’s the difference between 37 (which is fine) and 41 (which is absolutely not).

Not worth it- don’t get
Not worth it. Not great quality. Despite changing battery 2-3 times. Kept turning off. Couldn’t turn back on. Can’t keep replacing battery.

Use with caution
The thermometer can take a while to change to the correct temperature reading and needs a tap or a bit of a swirl in the bath to read correctly so it's always worth double checking what it is showing is correct before putting baby in the bath. I've had it jump from 37 to the hot warning when I have tapped it on and off after feeling with my hand the bath water was hotter than the thermometer was telling me. Use with caution!

Rubbish
Wouldn’t even give a star, turned on, put in bath to check water temperature and it turned off after 36 Celcius...then checked the back and theres a slit where it should be sealed...so overall product arrived damaged...specifically wanted a bath thermometer

I think the battery is faulty 😕 I reckon it would be great if it came with a working battery.

Wouldn't buy again
This product just works when it wants to. I've replaced the batteries with brand new ones numerous times it works once then won't work again. I wouldn't buy this again. It's a shame it looks good and is a good idea it just doesn't work everytime.
