You wouldn't be looking at it if you didn't want it.
You have to buy the entire saga. It's horrible. You love it. You watch it. You make fun of it. You embarrass yourself. You watch it again. You accept what you've become. Buy it!

yup, in september 2020 ...
i didn't bother writing a review, more like offering commentary, for the previous parts (yet; and i might not share my opinion about the final part either) because i really, only have 1 lengthy comment that sums up my thoughts:1. THIS ENTIRE MOVIE SERIES IS ONE OF THE BEST, EVER!!!!2. EACH MOVIE, ON ITS OWN, IS ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES EVER!3. EVERYTHING, EV-E-RY-THING, ABOUT THIS ENTIRE SERIES, EACH MOVIE, WAS P E R F E C T!!!!! PER-FECT!!!4. THE ENTIRE MOVIE SERIES IS MUCHMUCHMUCH...BETTER THAN THE BOOK SERIES!!!!5. THIS ENTIRE SERIES IS AN EXCELLENT ESCAPE INTO THE WORLD OF MAKE BELIEVE (because, come on, reality sucks sometimes and one can NEVER go wrong with a good love story!!! NEVER!!! NE-VER!!!)these...SUPER TALENTED, awesome creators, colloquially speaking, "showed they asses off!" when they made this series. showed it off!!!! ( no, not "their". they. they ass. "they showed they asses off!!!" that is, they were very, very impressive. (a similar phrase, used in the negative and minus the word "off" means...well...unimpressive.)anyhu, what I LOVED SPECIFICALLY about this installment was the wedding scene. i thought about my 2 favorite weddings of all time!!!--gina and martin's island marriage on the "martin" show AND jamie and claire's marriage in the "outlander" series. Cash grab movie with way too much gore making it hard to watch. Worst film out of them.
Breaking dawn I and II look to be such easy money makers that it’s sloppy, despite the fact the director won an Oscar for another film. This movie in particular has far too much gore, making it hard to watch. The lack of continuity is almost hilarious, once again counting on the CGI more than the story and the characters. Have to say Robert Pattinson looks really good in this movie, where it is almost hard to watch Kristen Stewart designed to look like a spokeswoman for eating disorders. Pattinson suddenly has a better build than anyone else in the film, and is tan, with his hair going from red to black. He’s supposed to be 17 forever, unchanging. Unrealistic to expect actors not to grow up, but this was purposeful and painfully obvious.

Hilarious Bad Movie - Must See!
Let me preface this by saying that I give this one star despite thoroughly enjoying the movie. Why? Because it's so horribly bad, I found myself laughing at it for its entirety. This movie could have been marketed as a spoof of this franchise and I would have enjoyed it all the same. But that's probably a compliment considering Twilight is essentially a spoof of coherent gothic fiction. Also, the greatest part was seeing Bella almost die near the end and Edward frantically biting her everywhere to save her. No scars, no? Doesnt matter. We didn't such satisfaction. But if you ended the saga here and just pretended Bella died, you'd probably think this movie a masterpiece for killing off the teenage female equivalent of a silent, but deadly fart. Her death would have been salvaging some sanity with a spray of air freshener.

This Is the Reverse of How Love and Life Should Be.
This Is the Reverse of How Love and Life Should Be. They worship death and suicide. They hate life. The victim suffers from a severe case of Stockholm Syndrome, even when her abuser tells her to leave him. The parents are subservient to their own children. Mass murderers are given mass appeal as the good guys. The protectors of human life are given disrespect as the bad guys. This franchise should be called "Depression" or "Style over Substance". Parents, don't show this to your children. It is complete nonsense. I don't recommend this entire franchise. This might be a movie about the nightmares of being in abusive families, either foster-care or blood-related, with inappropriate dads and submissive/missing moms.

Good for teens, even better for seniors
Great artist, awesome performance, and wonderful music. I am addicted to the whole story and wishing for more.I Purchased two sets of dvds. The books are also amazing, but there are some people in it that didn't survive. I hope that Stephanie will get to work on it and transport us back to such fantastic and sublime world again.

No slip-cover.
Twilight is Twilight. You can love it or hate it, but I'm not reviewing the movie, I'm reviewing my purchase. I bought this one and Part 2 and it arrived in great condition and exactly as expected except there was no slip-cover with the case, which is very upsetting for me because that's the whole reason I ordered them on Amazon instead of buying it used. Besides that, it's great.

To save you some pain and a waste of time
The start of an awful waste of time. Stop before you find yourself getting sucked into possibly the worst vamp werewolf mashup you will regret experiencing. Hindsight will leave you twitching and asking..... why, why did I waste all that time watching this flie infested dung heap of a "saga". *twitches* Certainly nothing good to say here. Vampires shimmering..... what the beeeeeeep

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1.
This was a pre-order DVD and so was purchased in 2012 for a fan of the books and series, but we all (pretty much) like the Twilight series here.As the fourth movie in the quintet, this one got a bit of a critical so-so rating at the time of release, but I think - regarded as part of the cycle - it does it`s job in advancing the narrative very well; I don`t think there is any need for analysis given the overall success most people would concede the movie-version saga to be.The DVD release provides a good sharp transfer with subtitles in English and a couple of extras – a director`s commentary and some premiere night footage.A decent film in the series and required viewing as part of the Twilight saga.

Another excellent Twilight movie!!
I went to see this in the cinema and to be perfectly honest I came away feeling as though the whole thing had been rushed, I finally received my copy of this Blu Ray after issues with a special feature that wasn't included, this has apparently been resolved now and I have emailed Technicolor to recieve my free disc. After finally getting to re-watch the movie last night I think I have to take my initial feelings back.I now feel the whole thing was paced pretty well, besides one part that may be obvious to fans of the book, which was Bella driving her Merc I don't think anything was missed or messed up.The characters are convincing as always, story I loved anyway and has been translated well to film. This film for me shows Kristen Stewart's dedication to the role and I really can't fault anything with the movie.Effects are very well done. The Blu Ray picture and sound quality are both perfect. The most disappointing thing for me was how long it took to come through my letter box, but that's got nothing to do with the film. The whole experience is a little bitter sweet, because I loved the story so much, know it's almost all finished and will have to wait the coming months to see how the finale turns out, but hopefully it'll be as good as all of the current four releases have been.An excellent story, great movie, whether you like twilight or good films in general.Well worth multiple viewings IMO.

Only slightly embarrassed to admit it, but...
...I love Twilight and I'm a woman of a certain age who should know better! But I read the books, enjoyed them, watched the films and enjoyed them too, and I can't wait for the last instalment. Not going to say much about the cast, as enough has already been written elsewhere about the acting skills, or lack thereof, of this collection of actors. I like Robert Pattinson as an actor, though, which helps. It looks beautiful, it has flashes of humour which made me laugh out loud at the cinema and the more graphic scenes in the book are handled well and effectively. SPOILER ALERT: The transformation scene was, I thought, particularly well done and the special effects spot-on.Was a bit disappointed with the soundtrack, as the first three films have outstanding music; the collection of songs used in part 4 isn't to my taste, but the score is, as ever, evocative and beautiful. Using themes from the first three films, woven into the new melodies, links the four films together extremely well. All together, a reasonable addition to the collection, and the final scenes whetted my appetite for Breaking Dawn 2.

Serious let down!
If you like me thought the first installment of the Twilight saga was the best, it captured the emotions, scenes and characters to perfection then this one is a major let down.Very very slow to get going and when it does nothing much happens, nowhere near enough emphasis on why Bella is suffering so much and not enough time was spent on her turning moments. The special effects as expected were great especially the ones when Bella is pregnant but having been a huge fan of the Twilight saga since the first book was released I was left really disappointed with this film, also the vampire characters are not getting better looking but worse looking with every film that is released, seriously look back at all the characters in the first film then look at this one??? What is going on!!! I understand they are aging in reality but come on!I wouldn't recommend this film but if you like me have bought the others then yeah get it, at least your collection won't look out of place with one missing.

Missing Extras
Running Out of IdeasI thought the first three films in the series were increasingly good at capturing the complexity of first deep love. I guess I'm not the "audience" this film is aimed at but I found it very cheesy and idealised "hollywood" version of a wedding and the early days of marriage. Bella continues to be surly and didn't even smile as she walked down the aisle. I thought the special effects were poorer in this than in the prior films, particularly the eyes of the baby which look painted on.It doesn't bode well for the last film in the series. Let's hope its more convincing and a fitting close to an otherwise good set of films. The missing extra's - I got an unsolicited email from amazon confirming that the distributor will send out the missing extra "Filming The Twilight Saga:Braking Dawn Part 1" and saying this was a print error and should not have been included. You should check your email to see if Amazon has also contacted you.
