Using my new bluetooth keyboard to type message on smartphone. This remote seems to be the same one that came with the TV. All buttons and mic work the same way. However, I must say that the TV can only work with one remote at a time. So this remote that I got for my wife cannot work at the same time. However, I will keep it for a standby in case the original one breaks. You need a remote these days to work with the modern TVs. So I will keep it. But, it you,like me, want a remote for your wife that does work at the same time, look at the remote I bought from EZtry123 for $16. It does not have bluetooth, but uses IR, so is compatible with the original bluetooth remote. Therefore my wife will be able to change volume and channels while I can use the original remote. That company makes a great product and has spectacular customer support. I highly recommend both companies

After watching several YouTube videos I finally got the back cover off to put batteries in now I cannot get the back cover to go back on. Absolutely ridiculous product engineering. Spend $70 on a remote that you can't use due to what has to be the worst design flaw ever.

This remote control's description was the only one on Amazon that listed the exact model of my Samsung TV (which was purchased in Costco in Aug 2017). I was worried it won't pair with the TV as stated by some of the reviews associated with (seemingly) identical remote controls sold on Amazon that didn't explicitly list my TV model. But the remote control arrived with the pairing instructions below, which worked. This remote works identically to the original."To pair your Smart Control with your TV, simultaneously press and hold the (1) 'Return/Arrow' button and the (2) 'Pause/Play' button on the Smart Touch Control (see right of picture) for about 5 seconds. Watch the upper portion of the TV screen for pairing information. Wait for the pairing attempt to finish."

I accidentally poured coffee on the remote that I had just like this one. I was glad to find another one. It was very easy to pair with tv and within a few minutes I had it doing everything like my other remote was. It is easy to set it up as a remote that will work almost all of my devices so I can stick to one remote.

I bought it to work with my Samsung TV...it did, as advertised.
