Perfect for Details
Exactly what I needed to trace smaller letters. This is for detailed work. The larger one I had that came in the burning kit was too large and didn't burn the Maple wood in a delicate fashion. I wish I had this sooner.

Fits perfect
My previous got cross thread so I needed to replace. Great for small areas like signing a name or details. Make sure to let the unit cool before threading in and out

Gives you the ability to draw detailed lines
I wish this thing came with the original kit. it is perfect for detailing not only lines but also shading. I have not had any issues but that being i only used it on leather. i have a couple pictures on my full kit review of the first couple of projects i did if you want to see a reference. It fits perfectly as the original tips.

Pay attention
I have a Plaid burner and was needing this for percise detail. Would have been perfect for what I needed BUT fails to mention (at time of purchase) this tip is specifically for Walnut Hollow burners ONLY. They are not universal. THANKFULLY Plaids heating system works well enough that I was still able to use it being ¾ the way screwed in. THANK YOU for providing the tip but could have provided better description and specifications. Tip doesn't bend easily when hot like other tips so that's a plus. Over all, I'm pleased!

Makes drawing with a woodburning pen easy for beginners
I'll be honest-- I THOUGHT this point would allow heat to "flow" so that you could hold it down until you'd created a "dot" of the desired size. (Yes, I'm an absolute neophyte. Let's move on, please.) But what it actually does is far better: It lets me trace my penciled lines so precisely that I can draw dots--and anything else I please-- with no special thermogenic effects needed. Well, to the limits of my artistic skill, but that's a given. Since I just use it to draw eyes and hair on wooden peg people for children's toys, it's all I need.

My favorite detailed tip
My favorite detailed tip, very nice for highly detailed design. The tip breaks off very easily if the wand falls during work. I've been through two tips but I love how detailed the design is so I keep getting more. It is excellent for burning cursive thin designs
