These Sketcher "Shindigs-Miracle Clogs" don't live up to their name.
When I saw these 'clogs' I immediately thought I had found what I was looking for. They came in a few colors, were made by a respectable company that my family has used in the past, and a brand name my good friend always swore by. I read the previous reviews and decided for the great low Amazon price, I'd take everyones-review advice and buy a full size larger than I needed. I figured that if they were a little too big, I'd just wear heavier socks. After all, I got these for the cold months ahead!PROS: Out of the box they LOOKED perfect, the faux fur is soft, they are a good weight, well made, and easy on the eyes.CONS: However, once I tried them on they were TOO SMALL. I wear a size U.S.7, and purchased the U.S. size 8. I couldn't believe it, my foot sticks out the back past the fuzzy trim that should hug the base of the heel! How could Sketchers get the sizes so wrong? I'm So disappointed.Anyhow, I decided to keep them hoping that they would stretch out a bit. That hasn't happened, & I've had them a few months! The construction is quite ridged, and wearing them makes me feel like I'm walking like Frankenstein. There is just no give in the sole or the fabrics. The plush interior is not lined with any foam, so it's hard on the balls of your feet. And there is no arch support. Despite the fact that I am willing to deal with my choice of size & decided not to return them for a refund or for another 1/2 size up, they just aren't as comfortable as I expected from such a good company, and I can only tolerate wearing them for a few hours at a time.I should have spent the same amount of money on a not as attractive, lesser known brand that I saw locally. I am so disappointed with these Sketcher "Shindigs-Miracle Clogs." They simply don't live up to their name.

Skechers USA Women's Shindigs, chestnut
These are warm and pretty comfortable. I chose these over a similar pair because I was fooled by the "Miracle Sneaker" appearing in the description. These are not designed according to the Skecher "Shape-ups" or "Tone-ups"; do not assume that the description alludes to that line of exercise-soled shoes. Also, I would have thought that a size 6.5 would give me enough room to wear warm socks; no, only thin ones. It's okay, because the shoe is pretty warm with thin socks but, my feet wouldn't be warm if I were to wear them without socks. Think about ordering a half size larger than you tend to use normally. They have loosened up with a bit of wear for me but, still not to the point to where I could wear what I consider to be "warm" socks (and I'm not talking about big thick socks here.) I think this shoe looks rather like a "slipper" on me, more than a lined clog. If my foot were bigger, and the suede upper was on a longer shoe base, it would look less like the shoe was half "fluff". As it is, for that reason, I'm glad that I chose these rather than the other lined clogs because the higher and darker sole make me feel less like a grown woman has gone out wearing "slippers" like her teen daughter does. I am satisfied but was hoping to look more stylish.

Sizing is WAY off!
I have worn skechers for years and own many different styles so when i went looking for a black slip on type shoe I was excited to find these. I read reviews and everyone said they ran either true to size or to order a half size up to wear thick socks with. I ordered a 10 when I normally wear either a 9 or 9.5 (but there wasn't a 9.5 available). This shoe runs REALLY small - either that or I got a defective shoe. Even with nylons on these were WAY too short, and what was horrible is I have to imagine as the size goes up they also would feel wider (and I have a narrow foot).I tried. I really did. I wore them around the house with thick socks to see if they would form more to my foot but in the end I couldn't deal with it and sent them back. They are super cute and would probably be comfortable if you can walk in them without your foot sliding out because your toe keeps hitting the front so your heel comes over hte back lip.I really think I may have gotten a shoe that was mis-labeled in size, but it just reminded me why it's always better to try new shoes on first before purchasing them.

Clog winter shoes
I ordered these because I was in need of a new winter shoe. I previously had a pair similar to this, but they had no real tread on them so I slipped a lot in the winter on the ice and snow. When I found these with the aggressive tread, I was excited to try them out! It is still September, so I have not been able to wear them in the snow and ice yet, but I have worn them with jeans, and they are very comfortable and soft to wear. The only thing I can say as a con to them is the sizes run a little on the small side by about 1/2 a size. I'm hoping they will stretch the more I wear them as I don't really want to return them for just 1/2 a size difference. I am also wondering if they are a little tight because of the fluffy fur that's in them. I'd hate to send them back because they are a little tight only to find out the thickness of the fur was the problem and a pair 1/2 a size bigger would be too big once the fur gets smashed down from frequent wearing.

So Comfy........
I bought these because I have two pairs of the Bob's Keepsakes that are similar in style. They are getting a little beat up because as soon as it gets cool out, I wear them to do everything, including yardwork. I instantly liked the look of these - the sole is thicker and the upper is more solid, where the Bob's were more of a sweater material that would pull if they got snagged on something. I bought a half-size up based on other reviews and I'm glad I did. I can wear thick socks with them, and they do have a raised lip at the back, more so than the Bobs. I don't find them too heavy and they keep my feet toasty warm, but not too warm indoors that my feet sweat. I also bought a pair in tan. If they made more colors, I'd probably buy them too. I love just slipping these on to go to work, or anywhere, for that matter. Highly recommend!!
