Dilbert: The Joy of Work

I'm a big Scott Adams fan - even have the 20 year collectors edition. I read the 'Joy of Work' almost 10 years after I read 'The Way of the Weasel' which I had loved at that age when I wasn't even in a corporate job.'The Joy of Work' is a fun read - veers between hilariously realistic to slightly ridiculous. Bear in mind that it's 17 years since it was first published so you need to keep reminding yourself of that - some of the gags are specific to that context and hence have not aged well!A good breezy read, it's shorter than the Way of the Weasel. Do pick it up if you're a Dilbert or Scott Adams fan - it's a great addition to your place. But not his best work for sure...

awesome. extremely sadistic way of telling us what to do and what not. kept back the last star as a few chapters tend to get overdrawn sometimes. must share though, quite crazy reading it alone in public places. was reading while flying and kept laughing pretty uncontrollably - all by myself.

Firstly I thought it was a comic strip would be filled with pictures but that is not the case. Secondly, the book I received had dirty pages as tough already used was really disappointed.

The book is excellent. it would have more comfortable to read in a slightly larger font.

It's a funny book. I sort of got a bit sad that some of the things he points towards are indeed true. But it is a funny book, nonetheless. And, sooo original.
