EnvirosaxSlingsax Messenger Bag

I usually use Land's End tote bags, but I wanted to take something packable on a trip to Mexico so I purchased this Envirosax bag because it was cute and because it has an adjustable strap. I am kind of short and have a larger rear end, so being able to adjust this to just the right spot on my hip was important. :)I saw the picture, the price and description and it seemed too good to be true - I've never had an Envirosax bag and wasn't familiar with what the material would be like. I was also alarmed when I unpacked it - it was rolled up really small. I opened it up and was very surprised at how large it is. The material is "crinkly" and so I doubted the strength.However, I'm happy with the bag. Here's what I like about it:a) It's cute, and I can switch sides for two different looks.b) It has a smaller pocket in front which is actually still large. It is best for smaller items that you'd need to get to quickly: wallet, pens, or even a small water bottle. I have a small stainless steel bottle on a carabiner that I clipped to one of the straps and that worked well.c) The material is pretty strong. I used this as a beach bag and carried a couple of hardcover library books, water bottles, towel, change purse. I would feel confident carrying this at the Farmer's Market or other shopping for hands-free browsing to carry lighter items and produce.d) The larger compartment is pretty darn roomy, and you have to reach down deep to get smaller items. I feel like the items are pretty safe. I have used this walking around the city and have felt very secure.I feel this is a very sufficient replacement for a purse. I typically carry larger bags as purses such as tote bags and this is a great replacement. If I were still a student, I would carry this around campus if I only needed a couple files and a smaller book or two for class.This rolls up VERY small and has a built-in elastic band to secure; just throw in your car or purse...you never know when you can use a tote bag. Very happy with this cute, eco-friendly purchase and plan on buying them as gifts for friends for the holidays.

I wouldn't use this for a purse, but for groceries or carrying other extra items here and there it's very handy! The little pockets are great. I've gotten compliments on it several times. I ordered 2 colors. It folds up pretty small, so you can toss it in another bag. I primarily use it to bring my current crochet project around with me. I like that you can adjust the length of the strap, and at full length it's pretty long. Idk if I would necessarily use it for travel because there's no zipper to secure important items, but for day to day tasks and chores this is cool. A bit more handy than your typical foldable tote bag because you can wear it crossbody and be completely hands free.

This bag is large and fabric is stiff. It works great as an extra bag to travel with or pull things out of the overhead on a plane. Wish it was reversible inside out with color but Ive made very good use out of this when traveling and would buy it again.

Really cute and nice to adjust to the exact length you want but not as large as I had hoped for.

This is the perfect bag for travel or just to sling over your body and go, holds a lot, lightweight, has a front pocket for easy retrieval of keys or phone, it’s the best!

I bought this bag because it looked cute. It is a roomy bag with compartments. I have only had opporutnity to carry it a few times but I always get compliments about it. I loved the bag so much I bought one for my mother and she carries hers often. This is a cute and practical bag.

I wanted to love these and would have if the colors hadn't run all over the fabric. Love the style and being able to carry cross body but the fabric was a disaster. Very disappointed.

I bought this bag for a vacation and used it as a beach bag plus as my "purse" for the airplane. As a carry-on/purse, it was nice to stuff with extra things, tie the handles shut & toss in the overhead bin. As a beach bag it worked great, there is a pocket on the outside & the inside also to put money, pens, or any smaller items in, and plenty or room for books, sandals, camera, sunscreen, and whatever in else the bag. Got home & just tossed in the washer & dryer to get the sand out! Rolls up tiny to store. Will be great for the farmers market too.

Love the shape, but don't like the design. I think a design less bright would be better.
