Perfect replacement for GE MWF filter. Easy installation and the water tastes fine. Save yourself 50+% vs the GE EOM filters and let them rip off someone else instead.

At first i couldnt get the filter to fit, saw some reviews and figured some GE models just werent compatible. But, i decided to give one more try, i removed the plastic shroud around the filter and braced the top with my hand as i applied more pressure than i wanted to while turning the new filter. It finally slipped in place. Not sure if its larger o-rings or what, but they do work fine. Would buy again.

I like this water filter. The ice cubes and water do not taste like chlorine and the water tastes good. I found it a little challenging to get it up in it's place in my fridge but that is not the filter's problem. More the design of the fridge. I have a 2016 GE side by side fridge. The price is good for how long they last. We drink exclusively from this water and last time I changed it the filter lasted about 6 months. I'm happy with that cuz I think we use it a lot. And the filter is not too big. I recommend.
