This was originally purchased as a gift for a friend of mine, a gun aficionado. I was looking for something that he could perhaps affix under his night stand so that he has easy access to the firearm in case of emergencies. He was extremely happy with the item!I have to say that the magnet is extremely powerful. As a result, the installation should be done with the provided screws, and the double sided tape could be used to firmly affix the magnet in place. Luckily, the seller reached out to me with detailed instructions after the order shipped to specify this, and I shared this with my friend. Overall, I would highly recommend this gun mount for anyone in the market for a sturdy magnet to hold onto your precious firearm.

Magnet is plenty strong, secures my handgun in it’s holster perfectly.

I just bought 5 more and returned the other brandsI ordered several from 5 different brands, most were a magnet with a rubberized cover that came off.LANZON Magnetic Gun Mount was the ONLY that went WAY beyond my expectations.The rubberized coating was part of the magnet, not a separate piece, it was VERY strong and great for anything you want to use it for. Gun Magnet, kitchen cutlery, anything metal you need to stick up someplace termporarily.I might not have given such a great review except for the fact that after comparing to 4 other brands...THIS WAS THE VERY BEST MAGNET!Anyone saying other is just trolling the product for no reason.Thanks LANZON!! This item is not very strong. I don't know what the problem is, if it's the magnet strength or the rubber coating - it just does not hold my Walter PPQ 9MM! Disappointing!

Works great in my 2 door convertible sports car to my 2018 RV. I'm a mid-aged female and I love the feeling of safety due to the easy access especially on road trips which are now at least monthly.

I found that unlike some magnets that are enclosed with plastic, this magnet does not like 3m tape. It really needs fasteners. The fasteners they supplied did not work for the automotive plastic that I was securing to. I will probably have to remove it and re-install it. The magnet is fairly strong and once I have it secured I don't think there will be any issues.

This is a surprisingly strong magnet for such a small package. As a test, I placed a 5lb. dumbbell vertically on it, with very little of it touching the surface, and it held strong. The surface of the magnet is very cushy so it will not mar the surface of your gun. My only complaint would be the thin screws as I bent one while attaching it to some hard wood. I would recommend pre-drilling the holes. The heads of the screws are very recessed to avoid making contact with anything on top of it.

Secured on my wall nicely and the magnetic hold on the gun is outstanding.
