My old ones were old and dry rotted.. and all the flaps fell off.. I think these replacements actually made my challenger quieter.. and smell better?Anyways.. 2012 dodge challenger..

It popped in without issue. It showed up package extremely well and without any defects.

I bought this to replace my Jeep tailgate exhauster for a 2012 JK. Installation was a breeze after I removed my aftermarket tire carrier. Fitment was spot on; clipped in easily and snug. Old one was missing all but 2 flaps (and they both fell off when this was removed). These do not last long, but I would buy this one again when it is needed after a few years. It would be better if they came up with a more durable material and longer lasting design.

To remove the old [original] part, I just grabbed the plastic frame with pliers and pulled straight out. Some of the plastic tabs broke as I pulled. That's fine, the whole thing was garbage anyway. The new part simply pressed into place, with clicks as its tabs popped in to secure it. It's a perfect fit.

Fit/finish/markings are the same as the OEM take off- pretty sure its a genuine part. Remove the old one by using a 90 degree pick to release the 3 tabs on the top (reference new one for location). Pop out the old, pop in the new. Total time is about a minute and easy for anybody to do. You could probably substitute a thin allen key for a pick if you dont have one, but you'll want something thin and rigid with a 90-135 degree bend to it. Good seller, good product, good shipping.

Very pleased with this purchase. I drive on mostly dirt roads in my Jeep for work and the back was taking in a lot of dust/dirt. When I took the spare tire off and removed the spare tire holder to get to it, I noticed mine was missing the little rubber flaps and the seal was deteriorating. Took 5 minutes to install, and now I don't have as much dirt coming in the back of my Jeep JK. Wish I knew about this part sooner! Will definitely buy again when needed.
