André Rieu: Live at the Royal Albert Hall

The poor clarity, lack of good colour, 'muddy' video/general lack of sufficient sharpness of images is very disappointing. First impression was of it possibly being an illegal copy. If not, then it can only be that the provider is producing to an unsatisfactory standard.

We love Andre & his gang of musical geniuses. Ok. It's a huge marvellous orchestra & singers-All brilliant but unlike any orchestra I've seen or played in. A Concert is an entire evening of music, fun, laughter & often drinking! It's not a couple of hours of sitting stiffly & dressed up. People go dressed in whatever they want & join in all evening-often into the night! One time he asked if any Piper's, (People who can play the bagpipes) who could play in an up coming out door Concert-over 350 responded & played! He also had hundred's beautiful of grey, (they look white!) highly schooled horses prancing in time to the Piper's. It was fantastic to say the least. I can't recall exactly what's on this DVD but it will be as spectacular!

I love the artist and his orchestra and have lots of dvds. This is a poor quality in sound and picture. The dvd didn’t have plastic outer covering with seal. I only bought it as it was only one I have found with Andre Rieu at Royal Albert Hall.As I bought it on Amazon and although cheaper than usual thought it was as older date and venue. Don’t waste your money !,

Bought for my wife who is well pleased. For my part, I found it was too loud, had too much reverb and the orchestra was too small, hence the high degree of amplification. Not the usual Rieu offering we get from European venues., no singers or dancers . Consists of the concert of 85 min of mainly Strauss, followed by 22 min of 'extras' more upbeat, music in a number styles from Glenn Miller to S. American. Never heard Rieu play this sort of stuff before, maybe aiming at the British market. The audience seemed to love it, dancing in the aisles at the end, so no doubt it will appeal to Rieu fans.

From the first time I discovered this wonderful man, both my husband and I have been absolutely enthralled with his wonderful music and his very entertaining Orchestra. He also invites so many beautiful singers to perform with with them, If you have not heard this lovely man with his singers and Orchestra, I urge you one and all, to sit down one evening, relax and let his music transport you to which ever venue they are performing at. Brings tears to the eyes, sends waves of music to engulf you, and at times fills us with laughter.!! Wonderful Man.

As usual the video was first class. My only thought was the colours were too bright to begin with. Was not my TV or DVD, and it did eventually settle down.

This DVD is terrible quality. Sound and picture quality is distorted. This is the first Andre Rieu DVD that I have had problems with.

My Mother has dementia and literally loves Andre Rieu. She loves this dvd & watches it over & over & is convinced he's there with her.
