I needed an upgrade from my beat up, black, soft sided Caboodles Long Tapered Heartthrob Tote. I was looking for something that had lots of pockets, or separated storage. This train case is gorgeous but was very pricey at the original price of $69 on both Amazon and Ulta Beauty. I waited until it went on sale recently at $34.58 and finally made my move. I had balked at buying this box for about six months because nobody has posted the interior measurements, and it was difficult to determine what would fit inside. We all love the exterior, chic look of this beautiful box, but what the heck can you fit in it??? WORRY NOT, MY FRIENDS! I'm uploading pictures that I have personally created, using my own measuring tape and Photoshop program. Here are the Interior dimensions (disclaimer - I'm not a carpenter and have average measuring skills. This is why I also am uploading pictures of the ruler in the box) : LEFT TRAY: 6.25" top to bottom, 2.5" side to side. RIGHT TRAY (wider): 6.25" top to bottom, 5.75" side to side. These trays slide out on tracks, which I liked better than the flimsy, hinged pull out style. The tracks slide well and seem sturdy. The large MAIN INTERIOR COMPARTMENT is 8.875" wide and 4.25" deep. The trays have to slide over top of whatever you put inside, so if you have a slightly taller bottle, like I did (my Bobbi Brown foundation and ELF makeup mist spray - both are approximately 4.75" tall), you will have to tilt it over for it to fit. My Urban Decay Naked palette fits with plenty of room to spare. Also, Anastasia MoonChild highlighter palette fits and so will any of the squarish The Balm eye shadow palettes. The top trays fit my NYC creme eyeliner sticks, my mascaras, and my liquid eyeliners, no problem. This box fits quite a bit of makeup versus what I thought it would! Everything but my brushes (which I keep in a cylinder case) fit inside it. The mirror is a nice size and the box itself is aesthetically exquisite. The liner may need some Scotch guard if you're afraid of things leaking out onto it. The material of the lining is kind of a cheap polyester, as are most Caboodles liners. The hardware on the box I received (clasp) had one single large scratch, but I can deal with that. The box arrived in great condition compared to the demolished ones some people seem to have gotten. The hardware is a beautiful rose gold color, and there are four little metal feet on its underside. This box IS weighty, so I'm taking it down a couple stars on travel-ability. I wouldn't use this as a travel box. It's definitely a vanity box and will work well to protect your makeup due to its sturdy walls, unlike a fabric case that will get your stuff smashed. The lock is a little tricky to unclasp - the other reviewers have addressed this. It seems to take a few times of opening to get the hang of it. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this upgrade. It's really worth getting this train case while it's on sale for around $35.

I am REALLY liking this small train case. The dusty pink color is petal perfect (NO idea why it is listed as beige...there is NOTHING beige about thus lovely item). The pebble texture is a great detail and elevates this case to luxe. I am a total sucker for rose gold and so its latch really compliments the pink tone of this case. The mirror is nice and a very good size for the case's size. The sliding trays are an appreciated feature. I like that the main area does not come with preformed spaces so I can organize things how I want them. It also allows me to adjust however I need to. I say how to use this space...it doesn't tell me how or can't adjust as needed. It is a little steep on its price tag, but you get what you pay for. I am VERY happy with my purchase. Thinking of a second purchase - buy what you love - maybe in another color? Not sure...this pink is SOOOOO good. I'll have to save up, but it is worth every nickle (RIP Pennies 2025).

I bought this to replace the Caboodle I had years ago after the clasp on my old one broke. The clasp has been upgraded and feels much sturdier now. Everything else is the same beautiful case I remember—great quality and perfect for organizing makeup. It’s nice to see a classic product still holding up after all these years.

While I do think it's a bit pricey for what it is, it looks very nice on my vanity and fits my daily products perfectly without over-organizing everything into too many trays. The two top slide out trays and the roomy bottom area are perfect, and it closes securely so I can move it around when I'm cleaning or if I expect guests to use the bathroom where I keep my makeup (so it doesn't take up counter space from them). It's very pretty and much more subtle and sophisticated than the Caboodles of my teen years.

This was a special gift for my daughter’s birthday and she absolutely loves it! Let’s face it, looks matter when it comes to beauty products. There is a reason we don’t just use tackle boxes for storage, and this case does not disappoint in the looks category! Everything feels upscale and luxe. The vegan leather is dreamy, the rose gold hardware is chic and fun, even the rails that the trays slide on feel high quality and make a pleasant clicking sound as they slide into place. And it holds A TON! I included a photo of the product tag where I added the interior dimensions with red text. Part of the reason I got this is because my daughter loves all things beauty and has accumulated so much that we really needed more storage. I was expecting this to hold nail polish, brushes, and makeup but I was pleasantly surprised that it’s big enough to also hold larger items like bottles of lotion and face wash. It’s kid friendly because the interior fabric cleans up easily, I’d say it’s on the higher end for liner fabric and has a bit of a sheen to it, almost like bathing suit material. Even the tag feels high end with reflective gold lettering. It’s a whole vibe. My daughter opened it and immediately squealed. The quality and function are top notch and the look and presentation give it a wow factor. This is 100% gift-worthy, or a nice choice for anyone who wants to feel special and appreciates aesthetics in addition to function. Love it.

This is so spacious, sturdy and easy to keep organize and tote around. I have ended up keeping my primary makeup permanently stored for use. I had caboodles in the past for myself and my children, they were brightly colored tackle-box-style. This is much prettier!

Beautiful color, loved the size and sections, but buckle looked plastic like and didn’t seem like it would last. Item itself though was just what I was looking for except for buckle latch to keep it closed. Returned!

This is a heavy duty but very feminine high quality box and it hold a lot and is just fun to use!

I bought this storage box to store my 'used most often' makeup, and I have no regrets. Outside of the box: cute pale blush pink colour with gold hardware. Wipeable, clasp and handle are holding up after nearly a year. Inside: Upper drawers are sliding just fine, no issues at all. I purchased some plastic trays to compartmentalize the main area a bit. The inside has a mirror under the lid. This mirror is a little hard to use since when this is sitting on a desk, the lid / mirror is too low to use and is not quite at the correct angle... however, if needed, I just tilt the entire box back a bit to angle the mirror correctly. The upper trays are great for lipsticks, lip, eye and cheek pencils, small brushes, etc. The lower main area is deep enough for foundation bottles. Perhaps not deep enough for taller tubes and bottles, but you can always lie those on their sides. All in all, I keep this in my home office, (yes, to quickly slap on makeup before a video meeting!!) It's visible, and it looks classic, cute, not obviously a makeup box. Would buy again.

Es muy bonito el estuche, en la imagen se ve más angosto de lo que en realidad es, es más grande de lo que imaginé. El material se ve bien pero habrá que probar si es resistente. No me gustó que por dentro venía manchado no se si fue una devolución, tenía algunos detalles en el material sintético exterior, llegó muy rápido, no viene envuelto solo trae una etiqueta de la marca, venía en una caja 📦 de Amazon así fue como lo pedí para evitar que se maltratará.
